After years, I recently upgraded my Apple Watch, and quickly discovered that jumping from Apple Watch Series 6 to Series 10 is a trip of both big and small changes. It is still the same apple watch, but is larger and light. It is at the end enough that I can wear it on the bed, and receive a sleep analysis report each night. Honestly, I only upgraded my Apple Watch because the battery was dying on my old, but now I am happy that I did it.
Although it is easy to talk about the updated form factor, I have also seen that in series 10 my upgrade has brought some small allowances with me that I think I think has not been talked about enough. Some of these series are not exclusive to 10, but they are in front and centers on it: these are small suitability that I have come to appreciate since upgrading to the new Apple Watch.
Apple Watch Speaker, Unwanted

Prior to series 10, the underlying speaker of the Apple Watch was limited to taking calls, and the notification to give voice to the alarm. And I liked it very much that I can take a call while staying away from my phone.
But if you are using series 10 or Ultra 2, now you can play different types of voices from speakers. It works on its apps of Apple, of course, like podcast and music. But even for third -party apps, if they support it. YouTube music works, and therefore spotify, although only when you are paying for the premium. If you often use the media app, check to see if the speaker output works.
For me a sleeper hit is audible and zenitizer, the meditation app of my choice is app. I no longer touch my iPhone while starting my routine. Zenitizer There is a guidance-free meditation app, but I use it to play the voice of the background nature, to focus on which there is something that is enough to do it on the Apple Watch Speaker.
Photos, Superior Watch Face

I have been trying for the last 10 years, but I can never really nail a watch face configuration that I like. It is difficult to set a watch face that you like to see and it is still useful, is full of all the complications you like.
Therefore, I have left, and embraced new updated photos Watch Face. If you have not yet tried a new version in Watches 11, you need. It does all heavy lifting for you. First, on your iPhone, find it from the Watch App. Here, you can ask it to circle between nature, cities or a person’s photos. This will automatically suggest the name of your partner or your family members. Then, I suggest that the watch fonts leave the font on the dynamic, after which you can complicate two or two if you want.
Every day, the face of your watch will now bicycle through a separate set of photos, a kind of cropped that looks beautiful on the apple watch. The font will be dynamically intercepted with photo background. So you will see it peeping out of the horizon out of the sunset photo, or your wife’s curly hair (my personal favorite). It is quite good to see throughout the day.

If the complications of the watch face are not working for you, you can turn to the widget. Watched in Watchos 10, they bring a small version of the iPhone Widget in Apple Watch. You can access them by swiping them on the watch face, or by beating the digital crown.
The first widget lets you add app shortcuts, and then it is your playground. Your Apple Watch will automatically show you the widget based on day time or reference. But you are free to add widgets and pin as you want.
What do you think so far?
For me, widgets have become my command center. Almost every conversation begins with my watch starts with the widget. I use them to open the workout app, check the weather, start your attention timer, control your podcast and timer and see their fitness activity.
My only issue here is that the widget space is quite limited. You can only add only eight widgets (as well as the complexity shortcut widget at the top). I now use seven widgets, so I am very close to the border. I hope Apple expands this limit in the next watch update.
Offline playback and ability to overtake your iPhone

I do not have a cellular Apple watch, but I still enjoy leaving my iPhone behind and completely rely on my watch. In addition, the connection of Apple Watch with the iPhone is quite limited anyway. Sometimes Apple Watch fails to connect even when I am in an adjacent room (concrete walls may be there). It is good to use it to use it on your own.
My favorite thing about using Apple Watch by yourself? You can load it with media and podcast. It is not a single button press, or even necessarily an easy process. But if you open a compatible media app on your Apple Watch, and also on your iPhone, there is a good chance that the app will give you instructions about syncing audio files and podcasts. Shast, my podcast client of choice, it does quite well. It takes a long time to sink between my equipment, but after that, you can go to the Settings section to enable the feature that downloads 20 latest episodes from any playlist on your watch (when it is connected to WiFi, and is connected to charging).
In the music app, open any playlist, tap three-dotted Menu Icon and tap downloadApple’s podcast app will automatically download the episode in your next line, but you can always choose the show to download in your watch. From the watch app on the iPhone, go to My watch , podcast , Add shows,
Double-tap grows on you

Finally, I want to talk about the polite small double-tap feature that has worked in some important situations for me. This feature is available at Apple Watch Series 9 and Higher, and lets you tap your index finger and your thumb twice to take a big action on your screen. You can use it to take a call, finish a call, to awaken the Apple Watch, and even to scroll the list. For example, you can double-tap once to wake up the screen, do it again to open the widget screen, and keep scrolling. It is not at all revolutionary, but it is quite useful when your hands are full.
