Microsoft teams are an excellent online meeting tool. It packs many characteristics – some of which may not be known about you. I would give you some suggestions about using this device that you use your best on your computer.
Use the keyboard shortcut to hurry things
By using the keyboard shortcuts of teams, you can apply several app features and do things quickly. You simply press an important combination on your keyboard, and the app performs a certain function. Here are some useful shortcuts that you can use in the app:

Use a slash command to perform immediate actions
The teams are equipped with a slash (/) command to help the teams work from the search box of the app. You simply reach the search box of the app, type a slash command, and appropriate action is taken in the app.
You cannot have access to all available slash commands. Availability depends on the settings of your organization.
There are some slash commands to use:
- /Go: Go to a chat or channel
- /Available, /away, /Busy, /BRB: Change your current position
- /call out: Call someone
- /Appname: Launch a specific app
To see all the available slash commands, click on the search box and type , (Slash). The available commands will appear, and you can click on it you want to use.
Schedule a message for the future
If you want to send a message, but it is after hours or weekend, you can schedule the message in teams. This allows you to send your pre-composed message on the specified date and time.
To do this, open a chat with someone and type a message to send. Right-click on Send button and choose the date and time when you want to send your message to the teams. Then click the Continue button.
The teams will automatically send your pre-written message to the selected recipient at the specified time.
Stop conversations and stop distractions
If you do not want to receive an alert from a personal chat or a specific channel, you can mute it. By doing this you can still see new messages in that chat or channel, but the teams will not inform you about any new message.
To chat with someone, reach the chat. In the top-right corner, click on three dots. From the open menu, choose “muted”.
In the future, to make the chat unmute, open the chat. Click on the same three-dot menu and choose “Unmute”.
If you want to mute a channel, open that channel. In the top-right corner, click on three dots and choose “Channel Notification”. On the open window, click on the “All New Post” drop-down menu and choose “off”. Then, choose “Save”.
In the future, to unmut a channel, click on the “Drop-Down menu” all new posts “and choose an option in addition to off. Then, click on “Save” and save your changes.
Pin important chat and channel at the top
If you do not want to lose the track of important chats and channels, you can pin them to the top. In this way, teams display those chats at the top of other objects.

To do this, reach the chat or channel you want to pin. In the top-right corner, click on the three-dot menu and choose “PIN”. Your selected items will be immediately pinned to the top.

Use mode together to get visual breaks
Teams provide a mode simultaneously that meet guests in a virtual place like a class, auditorium or coffee shop. This makes meetings more enjoyable.
In a meeting, to activate the mode in the top bar of teams, see> See together> together.
If a guest has chosen another scene for himself, they will continue to see that mode; Teams will not automatically enable the mode together for them.
