But LampRoblox announced that it broke the ground at a new data center in Brazil – slate to go live in early 2026.
The new infrastructure will increase Roblox experience for millions of users in Brazil, provide better performance and reduce delay across the country.
The data center will be located in Sao Paulo, which is the capital, a strategic place, which has been selected to serve the growing Robox community in Brazil. Brazil is the second largest market of Robox worldwide by daily active users worldwide, growing at a total rate of 181% in four years.
There are many benefits from having a data center in Brazil, including:
- Better frame rate, response time, and panic for players across the country
- A better experience for players enjoying high-loyal, high performance games
- Roblox’s support to all of state -of -the -art developer tooling, potentially more competitive, enabling high -speed gameplay

- A high-demonstration environment for the game of creators, Brazilian players of growing creators

Matheus Vivian (Aka Hermit Crab) is a Brazilian developer and manufacturer who recently worked with the Brazilian Olympic Committee and Menino Malukwinho, so that they could work to bring their activity on the Robloox platform.
In a statement, Vivian said, “As a Robox developer based in Brazil, it is incredibly exciting to see Robox investing in a state -of -the -art data center. The step shows how seriously the Rablox takes our community and our ability. Better infrastructure, Brazilian players mean more opportunities.”
This announcement is as follows Regional pricingWhich allows creators to offer field-specific prices for their experience. Creators who opt for regional pricing have now have an additional tool to create global business and maximize earnings on Roblox.
For users, this means that prices in Robox are more reflected to their local economy, rather than paying the same price wherever they are. Later this year, the company plans to enable regional pricing for avatar goods.
