Losing your phone does not mean that you have lost its IMEI. There is a possibility, it has already survived somewhere; You just need to know where to look.

See the original retail box
The easiest way to find the IMEI number of your phone is on the original retail box. When you bought your phone, it came into a seal box with stuff and a manual. IMEI is printed on a label near the barcode. You will also see other details like EID, UPC and serial number.
For iPhones, the label is usually behind the box, while the Android phone often has a side or below. If it is not outside, peep inside the box; It can be on an inserted, warranty card or manual. Android devices often have a removable sticker on the device with IMEI and other device information.
Old phones with removable batteries often labeled the IMEI inside the battery compartment. But seal, with a change towards unibody design, the box is now a standard option.

Check your email challan or purchase receipt
If you do not have the original box, check the email used to buy the phone. Retail vendors and mobile carriers usually send confirmation emails after sale. This message carries the IMEI number, phone model and serial number. Open your email app and find the store or carrier you bought the phone.
You can also use keywords such as “order confirmation,” “invoice,” or “receipt” to reduce the results. If it is finished, do not forget to check your spam or junk folder. If you are not getting anything, log in to the website or app where you have bought your phone. Check the history of your order and download the challan or receipt. The IMEI number is usually in product description or billing information.
For shopping from Amazon or other online stores, sign in, check previous orders, and find the purchase details. If you have bought your phone in-store, see the receipt for the IMEI number. If it is missing, ask the store staff for help. I once lost my receipt after purchasing the phone locally, but the store released it again after verifying my purchases.

Use Google’s Find My device (for Android)
If you are using the Android phone connected to your Google account, you can find IMEI via Google’s Find My device. This device helps to detect lost smartphones and displays important information about each device attached to your account.
To start, open your web browser and head Find Google My deviceLog in using the same Google account attached to your phone. Once you get inside, you will see a map and a list of your equipment on the left. Just choose one for which you want to find IMEI, and a window will show detailed information.
Click on the top left corner to see IMEI and other details such as phone models and activation date.

Check your Apple ID account (for iphones)
Similar to Android, Apple provides a similar solution through your apple ID. If you own an Apple ID, you can sink all your equipment into account and easily detect the IMEI number for your iPhone.
To do this, open a web browser and navigate Apple ID websiteSign in with your credentials, and a six -digit verification code will be sent to your reliable device. Enter the code, and you will land on your account page.
Once you reach there, click on equipment Tab. This will display a list of all equipment related to your Apple ID. For your iPhone in the list and click on it.
On the device information page, scroll down About this Section. From here you will get details about your phone, including its IMEI number.

Try an IMEI finding site
Some online equipment, such as IMEI.INFOCheck the phone details by entering its IMEI. Although these devices will not generate an IMEI for you, they can confirm whether you have correct. You will find details such as the brand, model and warranty status of the phone.
This is useful if you are verified a suspect IMEI, trimmed with vague labels through older documents, or even to see the equipment which IMEI belongs to which phone.
If nothing else works, the manufacturer or service provider of your phone may still be able to help you. They may have a record of your challan, which usually includes your IMEI. Or, if you have active the phone with them first, they may be able to see it in your system.
Contact their customer aid or live chat and explain your situation. Make sure you have ownership and any ID that they can ask. Once they verify your information, they will check their records and give you IMEI tied to their device.
When your phone is not around, these are some quick and easy ways to find your IMEI number. I have tried some of these, and they have been helpful when I need the number quickly. Give them a shot, and once you get your IMEI, save it somewhere safe so that you are not doing it later to find it again.
