Microsoft is shutting down a group of new and better AI skills that is avoiding “the new generation of Windows experiences”. One in Blog post published on TuesdayThe company reported what is in the store for Copilot+ PC and what is for all Windows 11 users.

Change Windows Settings

Next, new AI powers are rolling for photos, paint and snipping tools.
Photo App is achieving an interesting feature known as relight. Here the goal is to fix the bad lighting in a picture or simply give it a more creative look. With Relight, you can add dynamic lighting to a picture by in the position of three different light sources and by pushing a focus point that will follow all the lights. From there, you will be able to twitter the visuals with glitter and intensity control or automatically turn on the underlying preset to apply a specific look.

The new relay tool will first reach the Snapdragon X series Copilot+ PC to Windows Insider and later expand AMD and Intel Copillot+ PC in the year.
The paint program is getting two additional AI skills. With the new sticker generator, you will be able to create your own custom stickers based on a text detail. And with object select tools, you can zero on specific areas or elements on the canvas and only target your editing. Both skills will reach Windows interiors later this month.
The snipping tool has been given three new powers. The device will now automatically detect the area you want to capture in a screenshot so that you do not have to feed with the crop handle. Of course, the handle will still be available if you need to adjust the area. A text extract will let you extract and copy text from images and screenshots. A color picker will allow you to capture a color from anywhere on the screen and apply it elsewhere.

Now, let’s look at new and better features for all Windows 11 users.

Windows 11 Start menu is getting overhaul. All the new apps directly accessible from the menu will automatically sort your apps, based on which you use most often. In addition, the new phone partner scene will show your iPhone or Android device to the side-by-side with a regular start menu.

The file explorer is adding a feature called AI Action. With this one, right-clicking a file in the file explorer will take you to specific tasks based on the file. For example, right-click on a text document will display a command to summarize the material, while selecting an image will give you the option to paint it or edit it in a photo.

Notepad
Old, reliable notepad is also being justified with AI. A new right feature will create text based on your details on the prompt. The new summary tool will condensing a long text file in a more brief version. In addition, Microsoft is adding some light formatting skills, including bold and Italic typeface, simple lists and titles. Notepad will now also support Markdown files.
Changes in start menu, file explorer and notepad will be available for Windows Insiders in the first month.
Copilot Windows App
Finally, Microsoft is getting the Copilot Windows app twinkling in some ways. Copillot Vision tells you to analyze, abbrevates or briefly, or answer AI to AI. But currently it is limited to Microsoft Edge on Copilot mobile app and desktop.
Soon, you will be able to use the vision directly from the Copilot Windows app to request information on any browser screen or app window. It is now available for Windows Insider and will soon be accessible to all Windows 11 users in the US.
