Instacart is rolling a new party app to order alcoholic beverages and snacks

Instccart is rolling a new app, but it is not to order grocery goods – at least, not necessary. Instead, the Instccart sees “Fiz” as a party delivery app, designed to order snacks and alcoholic beverages.

Fiz is not the first to offer alcohol delivery. Instacart itself supports alcohol delivery wherever it is legal, as Doordash does. But perhaps the most notorious alcohol delivery app was Drizley: Service was a popular option to order liquor, but its reputation was after 2020 data breech grew up. Uber acquired the app next year, Then closed it in 2024,

But Fij is not a drizzle clone. Instead, the app looks more as Drizley has crossed with party-placing apps such as partful or Apple invitation-only you order drinks and snacks, but you invite others to do so. In fact, Fizh is now embedded in the partful app, so you can use it when planning a massive party.

Instccart says that after starting “party cart”, you can share a link with friends so that they can join. (They do not need Fiz app to participate.) Everyone in the group can see what has already been ordered, and whatever they want. Anything you add to a party cart, you pay for yourself, about which I feel mixed. On the one hand, it is good to “bring” people “bring” what they want at the party, without the need to track people to pay for their share. But for some parties and ceremonies, it makes sense to divide everything equally. It would be good if the Fizer will add at least an alternative.

If you want to use Fizer with part, you can choose to enable the “group order” in the app. Then, everyone on the part can reach the Fiz link.

As designed to order the app alcohol, it is available only to users aged 21 and older. There is also a flat $ 5 delivery fee for all orders, although it does not include a tip.

If you live in a state or region where alcohol delivery is not legal, you cannot use Fiz (or any alcohol delivery service). According to techcrunchFizz Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kentki, Louisiana (some areas), Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississota, Mississippi, Missori, Nebracea, New Jersey, New Jersey, New Jersey, New Jersey, New Jersey, New Jersey, New Jersie Oregon, Texas, Tennessi, Virginia, Washington and Vyoming.
