Instead of using a sail to glide the area, the players will have a glider from now on.
A major update has come to the Palworld as a result of the ongoing legal battle between developer Pocketpere, Nintendo and Pokémon Company. Recently, Pocketpere made an update to the Palvorld, which removed the ability to use Pal demons to glide through the air from the higher location. The players will now have a glider to do so, which takes the monster out of the equation, except the passive state boost.
Pocketpere announced this change, argument, and how it will affect Palwarld in one Post on social media of the game This week. Pocketpere does not make any qualifications about blaming litigation against it, quotes it as the primary cause of change, and how it affects the quality of Palvarald:
(Regarding the trial, Palvorld and future changes)
We want to express our honesty and praise for the continuous support of our fans in the last few months. We are not able to share as much information as we want, but we trust …

Pocketpere also reiterated that back in November 2024, it was forced to get rid of mechanics in which the players threw the ball items to call their demons. Later, bringing the demons out called them to the players’ sides. It was also a direct result of a court fight with Nintendo.
To create these concessions to keep the Palvarald alive with the pocketpere, it remains to be seen whether it will be caught in the battle of its court with Nintendo. Throughout the process, Nintendo has stated that Palwarld has violated several of its copyrights. Pocketpere has argued against the prevalence and time of Nintendo’s admission to the patent, but if these changes are no indication, the developer may not expect in court.
