Summary

Google message group chat icons are added more adaptation options including adaptation.
-
A “delete for everybody” feature is rolling out, allowing users to ignore RCS messages.

The adaptation is still in the beta phase, but will probably be available to all soon.
Recently, it seems that Google messages have improved every few weeks, and now we are getting two more features that everyone should love. If you ever wanted to ignore a message or have more adaptation control, especially in group chat, then you will be happy about these upcoming changes.
My biggest complaint with Google messages is the lack of adaptation options compared to competitive apps such as Textra or Chompsms. At the end of last year, rumors suggested that the search was working on giving more control to giant users, and now they are finally here. Additionally, when you try to ignore the RCS message, there is a new “delete for everybody” option.

Customize group chat icons in google messages
Google Message Group is testing a new way to change the icon for chat, which is one of my biggest complaints with the app. Currently, it just shows four circles with personal profile photos, or letters for each name, and when you have several groups chat (as we all do these days), they all get stained together. This is not very user friendly, which is why Google took me to digtra for messages forever.
Now, see a pencil icon on the latest Google message beta (included) that allows complete adaptation of the group chat icon. Tapping on the pencil icon, you can choose countless pictures, device photos, or anything from your Google photos. Originally, you can upload any image at your will and separate your group chat in the end.
Finally, a feature that should have been included from the beginning is almost ready for primetime. Unfortunately, it is still a little small car, and once you choose an image, there is no way to return to the default look. However, you can always choose another image.
Again, it is only available on the Google Message beta, but it is a good chance that it will soon come for everyone, considering a highly requested feature. Now I want to continue more adaptation for Google, and I will be happy.
A new ‘remove for all’ options
Another new feature that currently roll out for all is the ability to remove or unheard the RCS message. We first saw it under the test in February, and it is allegedly starting to roll out in the latest updates. Certainly, you have always been able to remove a message from your conversation, but whatever it does removes it from looking inside the app.
Reddit User U/seeareeff Reporting the “delete for everyde” option in at least one group conversation, although it only works on large group chats with more than 10 users. Instead of just allowing you to remove a message, the app lets you choose from “removal for all” or “remove for me”.
He said, Google notes that “the message can still be seen by others on old app versions.” Based on previous reports, you will have 15 minutes to ignore any text message from the group RCS chat. After that small window, you can still remove the message, but it will not be “inconsistent”. This would be great if we can fully edit and unheard the text messages, which can eventually come, but this is not yet an option.
In any way, these are two huge new features that everyone can appreciate. Our Google Message Group has a little more adaptation to the chat, and when you accidentally send something, the option to remove a message for all. Get the latest updates on the Play Store and try it yourself.
