Although it is expected to be launched with the long -term Exynos 2400E chip, a new report suggests that Samsung, citing production issues with Samsung Foundry, can go with MediaTek Demistance 9400 instead.

According to the source, Samsung still intends to launch the Galaxy S25 Fe with Exynos 2400E, but the company has a backup plan, when production issues arise, and this is a demonic 9400. While Samsung has first used MediaTek chips in the Galaxy Tab S10 lineup, it is made several notable downside.
Cost is the first and most important. Demistance 9400 is a more powerful chip, but it is more expensive due to both its glasses and the need to buy it from MediaTek. Exynos 2400E will allow Samsung to produce the required silicone in-house and bring revenue to the Samsung Foundry.
In the Galaxy S24 generation, the Galaxy S24 Fe was the only handset that received Exynos 2400E chips. Some rumors suggest that the yields can divide between the Galaxy S25 Fe and the Galaxy Z flip Fe, and this is where the anxiety lies. Earlier this year, the report stated that the Samsung Foundry had cut its chip production by 50 percent to overcome quality concerns, and last year it delayed the production of 2Nm chips. The Samsung Foundry has recently faced many failures, causing fans to worry that it would not be able to meet the demand.
The Galaxy S25 Fe means a more economical phone, and the chip plays a big role in it. Using an exynos chip allows Samsung to keep the cost low. If Samsung is to use Demispress 9400 instead, it will not only increase production costs, but possibly the final price of the phone.
