Google messages should soon get a welcome upgrade: the ability to mention other users in the group chat and ping them. The feature was found by Twitter in the popular @Mention format and now in other messaging programs such as WhatsApp or Telegram, this feature is a quick and easy way to attract a particular person’s attention that can be a busy group chat.
