Spotify is giving more control to users which songs are out of their AI DJ feature. From today, Spotify Premium Subscribers can now use the English Voice Command, so that DJs want to personalize the music they want, they sometimes play instead of relying on the changing playlist that it cures based on their hearing habits.
Users can reach these new abilities by pressing and keeping the ‘DJ’ button located in the right corner when using the AI DJ feature and listening to the beep. The users can then tell the DJ Bot verbally what they want to hear, such as “play some electronic beats for me for the afternoon run,” or “Surprise me with some indie tracks that I have never heard before.”
Before the update, this button will simply switch up randomly that you were currently listening and did not allow users to control what would be played further. Now, Spotify says that users can direct it to play specific artists, styles and mood. It also borrows some quirkier vib-based music recommendations from the AI Playlist Building Feature, which spotify launched in Beta last year, which makes a tractist based on text signals. For example, users AI DJ “as a film can ask me to play some music to soundtrack my life.”
This new voice command update is currently the only means for users, which will track AI DJ, there is no control over it, however, if you are using the convenience in an environment, it’s a bit strange where you cannot chat.
