Heads II Introduces a new mechanic that is not called mistake, which allows players to pin the dishes to which they do not have enough crafting reagents. While they are out in the world, the route will be exposed for those resources, which will make it easier to keep an eye on what you want. I like this feature, in any small part because I have been making my own version for other sports over years. This is one of the many ways that I use a spreadsheet to improve my gaming.
To be clear, I am No Recommendation that you follow my footsteps and create a spreadsheet for every game you play. I am deeply unwell, the world is on fire, and making small charts and tables how I increase some similarity of control over a chaotic world. In addition, not every game requires a spreadsheet.
For some sports, however, it is more useful for its own target tracker. Especially in the sandbox game, where the quest marker starts only you can start what you can. For my purposes, I will either use a specific Google sheet, or if I feel real spicy, I will do some work like perception for some more flexible devices. Here are some examples that I do.
Track State tears Kavach upgrade
There are lots of armor sets in State tearsAnd tracking each piece, exploration and super rewards in terms of powers obtained from various sets. What is Less The rewarding is upgrading the people already present with you. You need to travel great fairies with the right amount of materials, some of which are super rare or only drop from specific enemies. Some of which you can otherwise walk in the right past if you don’t know that you need them. (Looking at you, Lizalfos Tales.)
So i made This armor upgrade trackerI gave the section to tell myself to tell me which set I am most interested in assembled, how many pieces I have still left to claim, each of them is at the upgrade level at which level, and what is a set bonus that I have not yet unlocked. Most of this information is technically visible in the UI, but in this way I do not need to dig through the menu whether I have upgraded to the sticky armor, before I gather a bunch of sticky lizards.
I also gave myself space to write what ingredients I need for an upgrade, which is less important for me. About Everything In State tears Some armor is used to set or upgrade someone else, but I don’t always remember who I care about. And to see what material requires for an upgrade is the only way to see he visit the great angel.
This saved the ton of attempt to ruin me, because when I am out of thrill, I can quickly see my notes whether I still need a special item when I come beyond it. Not only is it as easy as reference, but it prevents me from going on a farming later for five Thunderwing butterflies that I had gone last hour earlier.
Running an outpost empire in Starfield

Credit: Eric Revennecraft
I have my own complaints StarfieldBut this did not stop me from creating dozens of hours of outpost, to cultivate as many resources as possible. Does it have any point? Not necessarily Most resources you need StarfieldYou can either buy or do farming easily. But I like to create my own mini-economy. The only problem is that the game is not designed as oversiers of dozens of outposts.
Enter my perception table. For this one, I have given myself one-one reference points for the resources of each planet, which of those resources are available at my post, and which of them are currently harvesting. Since you get a bonus when you have fully surveyed a planet, I have also marked if I have completed the survey of that planet. (Note: I was not able to easily make it in a template, so you have to make your own version with scratches. this page The perception will help you understand the basics, but if you need more guidance then there are many YouTube tutorials to check it.)
Di, this is my own personal Sisifian boulder, because this more effort is the only reason for organizing Starfield The outpost is for the pleasure of organizing outposts (?). However, I have done the same things for sports Stardyu valleyWhich are slightly more purposeful.
I used perception for this because I loved its approach to a database compared to the Google sheet. You can create a full database with entries for all the data you need, but then create an alternative scene that focus only on some of the data you created. For example, I also tracked what flora and fauna on each planet, but since I did not need it while managing my outpost, I decided to create a scene that was not included.
What do you think so far?
Waste my time Overwatch 2
Some of the spreadsheets I have made for the games I played, some of them have given me as much pain as it is. Overwatch 2 A battle pass system was switched to the system, which would disappear with rewards if you do not claim them until the end of the season. I already play a lot of game of this game, but I wanted to know how excess It will take time to fulfill some awards.
So, I made myself Slight calculatorI started tracking the average amount of time taken to complete a game and how much XP I got for each game. Then I gave myself some boxes, which calculate how much time it would take to reach a reward tier, on the basis of how much XP I had earned so far. I took it to a point where I had to fill only three blocks (highlighted in blue in the sheet) to see how much time I was planning to waste in a game for a cosmetic reward, which I will not use.
Now, I should be asked to play Overwatch 2I like to play it with my friends, and regardless of how much it abuses me. The real value here is that, sometimes, this spreadsheet Discouraged By playing me. If the game says “You are just 50,000 xp away from getting the reward!” It may look like a good idea. The game wants you to play after all. Instead, my spreadsheet says, “You have to play 41 hours of this game to reach that level. So I stop the game.
This has really helped me kick the habit of that “just one more game”, which is very easy to fall. These days, every online game has awards and points and a litter of blips and blueups designed to give you just one. Little Dopamine decides to play every time you keep playing. My calculator tool was not designed to save me time, but it was at the end that it was more honest that the icy storm would ever be.
Other spreadsheet ideas
These are many examples that I have done over the years. I have made sheets that calculate how much mine Stardyu valley Crops will be available over time, guessing about buying from Pierre’s store. (I am also Far away with this idea.) I have also made sheets like me State tears Tracker for upgrade in game Skyrim To Horizon forbidden west,
Even if you are not making your own, there is a chance that some entrepreneur gamers are out How much a shield buff affects your favorite heroAt any time there is some mathematics that I want to do the game for me, or resource requirements I am sick again and again, I will turn to my reliable spreadsheet – and now you can also do (?)
