Heads II Introduces a new mechanic that is not called mistake, which allows players to pin the dishes to which they do not have enough crafting reagents. While they are out in the world, the route will be exposed for those resources, which will make it easier to keep an eye on what you want. I like this feature, in any small part because I have been making my own version for other sports over years. This is one of the many ways that I use a spreadsheet to improve my gaming.
To be clear, I am No Recommendation that you follow my footsteps and create a spreadsheet for every game you play. I am deeply unwell, the world is on fire, and making small charts and tables how I increase some similarity of control over a chaotic world. In addition, not every game requires a spreadsheet.
For some sports, however, it is more useful for its own target tracker. Especially in the sandbox game, where the quest marker starts only you can start what you can. I also gave myself space to write what ingredients I need for an upgrade, which is less important for me. The only problem is that the game is not designed as oversiers of dozens of outposts.
Enter my perception table. For this one, I have given myself one-one reference points for the resources of each planet, which of those resources are available at my post, and which of them are currently harvesting. Since you get a bonus when you have fully surveyed a planet, I have also marked if I have completed the survey of that planet. (Note: I was not able to easily make it in a template, so you have to make your own version with scratches. this page The perception will help you understand the basics, but if you need more guidance then there are many YouTube tutorials to check it.)

I used perception for this because I loved its approach to a database compared to the Google sheet. You can create a full database with entries for all the data you need, but then create an alternative scene that focus only on some of the data you created. For example, I also tracked what flora and fauna on each planet, but since I did not need it while managing my outpost, I decided to create a scene that was not included.

Some of the spreadsheets I have made for the games I played, some of them have given me as much pain as it is.
