NVIDIA’s GEFORCE RTX 5060 is set to launch at prices starting from $ 299 on May 19, and the elevated promises of 1080p gaming with super high frame rate are abundantly. But wisely, there are some concerns … well a big one to be accurate – 8 GB video memory.
Video memory (or VRAM) is important for GPU to store in-game textures and sheds, which is to arrive quickly and process you have to produce an on-screen watching game.
And demanding the Aadhaar of 12 GB VRAM with recent AAA games like Indiana Jones and Great Circle, gamers are nervous that it will not be a horse power just to keep it.
So we have a question to answer: RTX 5060 is cheaper, but can it be the game? Or a little more price RTX 5060 ti is the real base model? We played 5 titles at 1080p to find out.
Spoiler Alert: When tested under NVIDIA scenarios, the game (and in some cases, slightly more) remain on the company’s performance claims.
Butter Smuth (provided you stay in the playground of Nvidia)

Of course, this is one Very This can see what it can do, and Nvidia has been careful to ensure that we share information about sports that are very well adapted to NVidia GPU. Sports we can talk about are, Cyberpank 2077, Doom: The Dark Edge, Hogwarts Legacy and Marvel rivals.
Provided you stay within these fertile grounds (because let’s be honest, play well with a lot of PC game team Green), you are going to be a great time with DLSS 4 over a great time on 1080p, it is the backbone to all.
O is secret weapon

DLSS 4 unlocked the bottomless frame rate in RTX 5060 TI at 1440p, and it does the same here. This cannot be done through pure rendering (or if you are dirty then Rekhapunj).
But as we have seen the time and time again, the new transformer model is used for a slap for frame generation – all 1080p handle the choice of doom in the ultra nightmier preset at 1080p.
We noticed that the frame rates during the gameplay have been well maintained at over 200 FPS, with the multi-frame generation 4x turned on (where a frame is provided and is filled with the next 3AI). Dying on 230 FPS can be annoying, but it is also a smooth way to go.
And after all AI tricliers, the shape of the textured pool is just more than 1.5GB. Di, this is a different example, but it is a proof that the nerve rendering work works hard to compress the demands on the VRAM. We were not seeing any clipping or stutter at all!

Meanwhile, cyberpank does not show us an exact frame rate when using its benchmarking tool of 2077 games. When we asked Nvidia, our representative confirmed that this is because the benchmark tool was unable to identify the frame generation-a perhaps a symptom of this pre-relief driver was being used for 5060.
We were looking at the average of 34.97 FPS reported through the game, which is far from the claims of 149 FPS and Very Different from what we see by blinding the gameplay. However, a quick use of the frameview and we look at that triple digit number.
Kill overredes

A frustration with the RTX 50-series card I have gone in some time, which comes in the DLSS override settings in the NVidia app. Never asked a game to support all DLSS 4 options, but do you not see them showing them in game settings? For these, you are going to the NVidia app and manually override them.
Experience is one that feels good on paper, but can be a guttlet of testing and error – it can not know a lot of tismketing that gamers who go to this card (cheap one means a low barrier of entry for players).
With the experience of many years of PC construction between us, we did not find it difficult, but if it can be simplified or even if people are given the option to automate the activation of DLSS override to game-by-game, it will be important.

However, being said, the final results were impressive. When override (the epic preset, DLSS was set for quality with multi-frame general 4X), then there is a crispy experience with very few ghosts, which you will not notice to notice-are running on 190 FPS promised at-1080 P.
Even better, when we did the same with Hogwarts Legacy (Ultra PreSet), the 156 FPS claim of NVidia was regularly beaten at 1080p, but it tismelting to reach a lot of your PC settings, as the rand traching options are controlled on the global quality settings for better tuning freely. Like the Nvidia app, great for PC players who know what they are doing, but here is a learning state.
Outlook

But once you detect that learning state, based on this limited glimpse, but from that glimpse, there are reasons for being optimistic here.
As we have seen on the rest of the 50-series family of Nvidia, the AI trick is going to make this sky possible to make the high frame rate possible-you are lubricating butter without a huge impact for any highly noticeable ghost or in-game delays around the objects.
But the 8GB video memory is still a big question that we have not yet received a proper answer in the context of our complete testing.
So for our complete testing, stick with Tom’s guide about how much (or how low) we can actually push the RTX 5060.
