The Acer Frequence Smart Ring is not the thing that I hope is from a company that specializes in laptop, monitor and even electric bikes, but was shown in Computex 2025 – and I got a chance to investigate it.

Aer’s first smart ring comes with all the health monitoring features that you will expect from the best smart rings, including health, sleep and fitness tracking, AI-operated insights and a mild, durable designs, including seven different sizes (both in black and rose color).

But there is a major feature that distinguishes it from its major competition in the price of OURA Ring 4 and Samsung Galaxy Ring. There is no membership fee to achieve full access to all your health data, and it is available to start from $ 199. Already, the freesense ring offers too much value.

Talking to a representative, I was told that the Acer Frequency Smart Ring would be available for approximately $ 199 to $ 250, and is to be released for some time in August.

The price is still being done, but it is a target for Ballpark Acer. At $ 199, it keeps it at the same cost as the Amazon Helio ring, which is currently the best price on the market smart ring.

In addition to being a subscription-free, there is much more for the freescence ring, but it is not just due to its pricing.

While picking up the Freasens Smart Ring, I can tell that it will be a wearable that I will barely notice. I could not try myself on the ring, as it was designed for a cable and the models in the show did not come to my shape, but the Acer ring definitely offers some light, minimal style.

Talking about sizes, it is available in 7 to 13 sizes. This OURA Ring 4 (4 to 15) or Samsung Galaxy Ring (5 to 15), but more than some other value-centered smart rings like Amazafit Helio (8, 10 and 12).

With just 2-3 grams (depending on the ring size) and 2.6 to 8 mm dimensions, it is light and compact as a smart (not contrary to the ultrahuman ring air and ringcon gene 2).

I am a fan of the look and feel of freesense, and it is sure to get you through physical activity and all such roughs and tabbles. It is made of titanium alloy, vacuum plating and PVD coating, coming in Black and Rose Gold (former is very much according to my choice), and comes with an IP68 rating so that dirt and scuff should not have a problem. This also means that water resistance up to 50 meters, which should not be a problem for most swimmers.

Overall, it looks like a normal ring and feels, with a design that does not feel that it is anything more that it claims – something that you want in a smart ring.

    Acer Freasens Ring: Health Facilities

One of the first things I asked what this smart ring can track, and the Acer Frequency Ring includes everything you expect. It collects heart rate monitoring, heart rate variability, blood oxygen levels and sleep quality as well as fitness tracking such as your steps. How correct is this? We have to take a proper look, but this is a smart ring.

One thing that was emphasized to me was its sleep analysis, which can tell you the different stages of sleep that you go through its sleep stage analysis. So, everything from your RAM to your deep sleep. As you can expect, it should be sufficiently accurate, but it may have a slight difference, such as OURA RING 4 vs Ultrahman Ring Air. From what I have seen, it seems more concentrated on sleep than a workout, but it is difficult to tell without using it (best smartwatch is known to do a good work).

There is still a lot to learn about what Acer Freasense Ring can do and how it can be right with your biometrics, but without membership fee, it makes it more seductive to all who want 24/7 analysis of their health with only a time fee.

    Acer Freasens Ring: Battery

The Acer Freasens Ring can last for 4 days on the same charge. This is not the longest smart ring, as the OURA ring can last up to 8 days, while the Galaxy ring can get you for 7 days. Nevertheless, it is quite tall without worrying about its charge, and should be similar to Amazfit Helio Smart Ring (around 4 to 5 days).

Interestingly, however, I was told that an hour charge can achieve you a full battery life of up to four days, already defeating Amazafit ring (up to two hours). The capacity of the battery was not mentioned, but it already seems that this smart ring may be a good, while a good may be a good before a promotion.

    Acer Freasens Ring: Partner App

So, what can the ring do? Well, everything, it seems, as the Acer Frequence Smart Ring comes with a fellow app that is compatible with iOS and Android. It is already better than the Samsung Galaxy ring, which only works with Android, and it means no matter whether you have the latest iPhone 16 or Pixel 9A, this app will work well.

From the interface I viewed, you can expect a user -friendly design of all health matrix on the tab of the house. However, given that it is powered by AI (what is not these days?), You will also get personal insights on recorded health data. So, it will tell you if you are getting enough sleep, what you need to do to get good rest, if your heart rate is very high and thus.

One thing that goes beyond health facilities is gesture features of smart ring. For example, I was able to wave “hello” to take a picture on a tablet. This means that it also works on a smartphone. Don’t worry; There is no smear of your hand while taking the picture, and you can wave and get ready for snap. I did not experience any other gestures, but it is sure to be more than just one. There is no word on special insights such as sleep apnea detection of the Galaxy ring, but I hope it will offer equal features.

    Acer Freasens Ring: Outlook

There is still a lot to learn about the Acer Freasens Ring, but as far as smart rings go, it is one of the best price smart rings you can find that you can find. I mean, $ 199 and no membership fee, it is on the way to be a wearer that many people interested in finger powered equipment should be placed on their radar.

This global release is ready to come for some time in August (yet there is no specific date), so we have to wait and see how well it performs. One thing is sure, it is an unknown area for Acer, and I am eager to see how it performs, and if it offers some special compatibility for the brand’s PC (eg its gesture features).

Stay for more to come in Computex 2025 while staying on the ground.
