Till now, the provision and distribution of yubikey-a-a-service-yubico was available in a handful of countries, mainly due to various local logistics and distribution challenges.
Today, the company announced that it has overcome those challenges to a great extent, it is more than doubled its global access, and it now serves in 175 countries and 24 regions, including all countries of the European Union.

Under the brand name Yubikey, offers a series of Yubico Fido CoalitionCliplant roaming authenticator that provides hardware-based end-user authentication for applications and websites.
For consumers, the company’s authenticaries prevent anyone from signing in password managers and other sensitive applications until a yubikey is physically available to them. When business and enterprises release yubikeys-or compete with offerings for all employees like Google’s Titan, any business-innovative applications, websites, and single sign-on infrastructure such as Okta’s enterprise SSO ID provider Prasad and Microsoft Entra ID Roaming authenticars are physically essential.
In commercial settings, the process of providing, issuing and managing all roaming authentors includes several logistic challenges, designed to address the company’s Yubikey-AA-A-Service.
For example, what happens when new distance employees undergo onboarding process and require a yubikey release that pre-provisions for all the enterprise apps and sites that they need to reach? Or, what if an existing employee is visiting customers in another country, loses his roaming authenticator, and until a new key is sent to them, cannot reach the email or other systems from far?
With Yubikey-AS-A-Service, IT personnel can visit their Yubico-provided portal, not only those yubikeys to pre-configure, but Yubico can also distribute them to any employee, almost anywhere in the world. Prior to today’s announcement, many parts of the world had employees and professional points of attendance that were out of service to service, resulting in timely continuing and distribution friction.
“Our enterprise customers can tell us that they want 10,000 yubikeys, and some of them should be 5 NFC USB-A-A-competent model, while others must be enabled 5C NFC models for USB-C, and similarly,” Yubico’s senior vice president Jeff Wallace told ZDNET. “These options are based on the fact that laptops, desktops or even phones using employees.”

According to Wallace, Yubikey-AS-A-Service is a hardware subscription service that gives flexibility to businesses as to what every employee should actually be provided and any of those employees should be able to distribute correctly configured and provisions on demand.
“To depart employees, it enables businesses to far -wokend keys, and we will replace them as part of the membership service without any fee,” said Wallace.
The extended global access to Yubikey-AS-A-Service is available from today and includes Yubico’s Yubieenterprise distribution service and the company’s Yubico enrollment suit.
