These 200 songs are all new arrangements, and they were also recorded live according to Asahi, and if they are delightful anywhere on the ears, the Mario Cart 8 deluxe’s excellent jazz-infected score, we are for a treatment.

“Overall, more than 200 for ‘Jukebox’,” Asahi Said When asked about the total number of music pieces in the Mario Cart World. “These are all brand-new arrangements, and we have also done live recording. We have prepared pieces from a wide variety of music styles. I believe that those who are well aware of video games music, as well as those who are not, will enjoy listening.”

“First, we created music for those courses as we have always done first and then thought what to do for the roads outside the courses,” said Asahi. “We decided to have two different types of music how you are playing.
“Video game music often plays on a loop, and in this game, too, plays the same music if you are running laps around a course. But for a knockout tour, as you get close to the next course, music has an infection in the outreo, so the theme is finished well.

For other mode in the Mario Cart World, like the Open World Free Rome, Asahi said that the team prepared a lot of music besides the course track, and that the game automatically selects the correct track based on the situation. During development, the team referred to this music of music as a “jucbox” and how the Jukbox feature made it in the Mario Cart World.
