The use of the tool is important to enable the robot to enable complex real-world functions, and taking advantage of human equipment-use data can be important for robot teaching. However, the methods of existing data collections such as the teleoperation are slow, prone to control the delay, and is unsuitable for dynamic functions. In contrast, human sports – where humans act directly with equipment – natural, unnecessary interactions which are both efficient and easy to collect. Build on this insight that humans and robots can share the same device, we propose a framework to move equipment-use knowledge from human drama to the robot.

Humanoid robots can support human workers in physically demanding environment, who require the coordination of the entire body, such as raising and transporting heavy objects. These functions, which we refer to as dynamic mobile manipulation (DMM), require simultaneous control of locomosotion, manipulation, and asanas under dynamic interaction forces.
