The Cintiq line of the pen display of the pen display gives designers and painters the ability to use stylus directly on the screen in various creative apps. Today, the company announced its latest entries Cintiq 16, Cintiq 24 and Cintiq 24 TouchAll three have a slimmer design compared to the previous model, including thin bezels around the outside. The company also reduced weight, making large options light and more portable.
The new Cintiq shows work with Pro Pen 3 where the previous generation offered Pro Pen 2. The third-G’s version supports 12MS response time, 8,192 pressure level, three programable buttons, up to 60-degree tilt and can be used with different grip. You can also swap pen nibs for a different experience or add balance weight as required. Inside, “a developed IC chip from Pro Pen 2” re -creates the exact and natural experience of drawing on paper. It does not even have a battery, so it is a less thing that you have to worry about charging.
Each model offers display panel 2.5K resolution (2560 x 1600 at 16-inch, 2560 x 1440 at 23.8-inch) and 60Hz refresh rates. WACOM serves for both its “true-to-life color” and anti-glare glass reflections and provides adequate friction for Pro Pen 3. This is combined with the powerful stylus of the company when the latter object produces “a natural, paper -like drawing experience”.
You can expect USB-C, HDMI and USB-A ports around the back, although Cintiq 16 connects to the computer with a single USB-C cable (display signal and power delivery). Cintiq also comes with the underlying foldable legs in 16 that allows the pen display to sit at the 20-degree angle. Cintiq 24 and Cintiq 24 Touch both come with an adjustable stand that provides more status (you can buy this stand separately for Cintiq 16).
In my experience, the WACOM display is in its best form when touch gestures are included. As the name suggests, they are available only on Cintiq 24 Touch in this trio. This couple functionality allows you to zoom, pan, rotate and more with your fingers, which make your workflow more efficient. And on Cintiq 24 Touch, you can use up to 10 fingers simultaneously for those tasks.
The new Cintiq lineup will be available later in this summer. Cintiq is 16 $ 699.95, Cintiq is 24 $ 1,299.95 And this Cintiq 24 Touch is $ 1,499.95,
