Former groups apply apply for quick access. Microsoft says that categories are made when their respective category has at least three apps. Otherwise, they are listed under “others”. Meanwhile, the grid visual list is similar to the view, linging the app in an alphabet order. However, it is said to provide more immovable property horizontally for easy discovery. The start menu will see the Windows 11 user pinned sections falling down in a row, giving priority to other classes. It can be set on an extended scene by default through settings. Finally, the company is also improving cross-device integration by allowing users to expand or collapse mobile device content using a dedicated button, which is placed next to the search box. The feature is currently available for Android and iOS devices in most markets and will later be expanded to the European Economic Zone.
