When I loaded the Street Fighter 6 on Switch 2, I had my expectations. I have spent the years as a fighting game fan at this point, which look at the low versions of good games, porting to the original nintendo switch, so when I arrived here, it painted my prejudices a little. So the color was shocked to me, when in the early days of Switch 2, we are looking at a port of Street Fighter 6, with all the characters up to Elena, only PC or PS 5 versions perform, have the same online Netcode, and have crossplay facilities with other versions? Any worse, half -working port with missing features. This is a real deal, even though Joy-C it still leaves something to be wanted in input.
Put it through the lab

I took a street fighter 6 to a few months off to focus on other fighters, so I was a little rusty, but after a few moments, I was able to take both Terry Bogard and Marisa to my expert combo tests. Then I was able to take Marisa and put my practice on a successful arcade run on the most difficult difficulty. Finally, I was able to go into an online rank match and go into 3 win for 3 defeats against platinum players.
The performance here is innocent. The street fighter 6 appears on the nintendo switch 2 and seems as it occurs on other platforms. There were no frimit drops. The game looked disturbed or less than its other platform counterparts. This was the bus street fighter 6, the way I have already experienced it. And I can not once again stress enough that every material is here, in all ways to Elena, so we are not working with a version that is behind the rest.
I was surprised at how easily I could be suited for the switch 2 version of the game. The only warning to me for all this is that you want to get a better controller than Joy-Con. Even as a pair of connectable hold, their button placements are slightly annoying to manage on the six-button fighter. I could never really give nails what I loved between left joystick and D-pad for movement. Dissatisfied de-pad quarter-circle is a bit difficult on input and the stick is not as tight as I would like. However, the big issue for me was that on the right, the right stick is very close to the button. Anytime I wanted to use B button, I often naked the stick in this process, which would throw my input until my thumb did a strange basket on the face button.
It is not that I can’t play on Joy-Con. Finally, one of the online ranked matches I resulted in a level 3 combo finish for a perfect. The other player will have to hold one right L from a switch 2 player and it gives a strange satisfaction. I think I, and other players, perhaps a pro -controller in a separate gamepad or perhaps more value like a stick. I hope that we get more options for switch 2, which keep the game in mind, because Joy-Con is a minor challenge here, even if it is eventually what you need to do.
Another platform for Golden Era
We are actually in a blessed era of the fighting games, with currently active street fighters, techcane, guilty gear and deadly fury games. There are much more good fighters beyond the unhygish unbearable cosmetics. Street Fighter 6 is a great example of what Switch 2 is capable of doing. If you are like me and getting away from nintendo, it has come in style because how much we are familiar with the low quality of the sports fighting games, it is time to reconsider. Just make sure that you are ready to deal with a difficult standard pad until you spring for the Pro Controller or Third-Party option.
