Eight months after its initial Access Public Launch, Off is preparing to release on the Grid Steam.
The game is currently available through Epic Games Store on PC and available as free-to-play-play titles through the latest-Je Xbox and PlayStation Console’s respective game shops.
We do not have accurate Steam -projection Date so far, but Delphi Ventures Kicks Founder Pierce Pierce, whose firm Investment In Gunjila Games, Said Yesterday the shooter is coming for steam in “a few weeks” (the last week of June).
The game is made on epic List Among the “most played” games, suggesting that it is doing good, and a player ratings a player at a epic of 3.9 out of a potential 5.
Gunjila CEO Vlad Korolev Said The grid of the grid last month has more than 10,000 new players, which was daily since the launch.
The grid falls behind its non-crypto shooter peers, though it comes to focus on Twitch. In the last month, OTG saw Less than a million Total hours viewed, on average, broadcast the game at any time with 28 twitch streamers. The game sees an average average of about 1,400 concurrent audiences on Twitch.
Those numbers are compared to games such as counter-stroke 2 (over 75 million hours with an average total audience in the same period) or Apex legends (17.3 million hours, with 24,000 average total audience).
It makes OTG the 157th most viewed game on Twitch by total clock hours in the last month.
Wabs are not equal players
First things first: We have not yet accurate to grid player count numbers, and it is not accurate to explain the wallet count as a player’s count. It is in part because the crypto elements of OTG are optional, but also because we live in a world where bot and AI agents can control wallet (and users can have more than one wallet).
Nevertheless, the number of crypto wallets attached to the grid has increased for the public in October (almost double double).
DAPPRADAR data was almost seen between the grid 40,000 and 170,000 The first month of the launch attach daily UAWS with its crypto elements. Today, eight months later, it is looking around 200,000 daily uaws,
The vast majority of OTG-related blockchain activity stays away from the testnet of the grid, not its mennet, indicating that the ecosystem is not yet switched.
Story of a player
In addition to the Crypto gaming dye-hards, how well is the grid closed by maintaining new players? A snapshot Praised Theodore Agnat, director of the web3 of Gunjila, painted the perspective of a person. A pseudo -name from grid fan A test done With a new account how many new players are still playing shooter games – and so far shared the conclusions shared in a thread with around 12,000 ideas.
He tracked other new OTG accounts, to see how many games were playing even after three weeks.
He found that in 152 accounts and four matches, 40% of those players were “passive” after three weeks. After that period, slightly more than 48% was still active, while the rest were “semi-active”.
Conclusion: OTG has “important” player retention.
For me, it does not have enough data to conclude firm about the whole game. For example, we do not even know how many of these ALTs eat, which can affect those numbers.
Retention expectations
Player dropoff, of course, is normal for all video games – even the most successful. And one who considers a game “successful” retention rate can be considered abysmal for another.
PC game is widely considered a good retention rate, not much public data on it. Spanish software firm barbury Suggestion of A week after launch, 20% retention rate for the game is good, while the 5–10% retention rate for the PC game after the game is out for a month is “strong”.
Data software firm Soulstein, however, is found More retention rates are becoming “The New Standards”, as it is spending more money to develop users, which was now compared to a few years ago. Overall, it makes the gaming industry more competitive.
Ambitious, high-up-up live-ops games require more retention than other types of sports, although especially if they are free-to-play titles, where gamers do not exclude cash upfronts.
I think over time, Gunjila will have to spend either to add adequate updates that bring gamers back from Fortnite and Cod-or its Pro-Crypto focus more on the core base.
Gunjila did not respond to my request for player count data.
