Dune: Awakening has a broad base-building policy that goes into something like this:
- Create a base wherever you want.
This is the complete policy.
There are restrictions, of course: construction very far on sand and will show a sandworm and eat a hunk of your base – with you, if you are not careful. And you cannot construct within a certain radius of an installed space such as a tradepost or faction. but that’s about it. Otherwise, you can build wherever you want.
And boys, players have embraced it and made everywhere. Arakis is covered with bases, some small, some spacious, such as players are spread throughout the map. And even though most of the tibba: Jagriti is in the PVE region, players have started using this free-for-all base-beding system to hurt each other.
Some locations are only insensitively placed: players create a gap between rocks that other players use to run sandbikes and buggy for example. It acts like a road, allowing everyone to go a long way or even go out and slightly jogs, which is trying to collect some resources or beating some missions.
Other base placements are completely frightening. The players have started manufacturing bases on the pockets of resources, as if you can harvest water from plants. There is nothing wrong in construction near a resource node: it just makes good understanding. But construction on top of one, essentially mean other players cannot use it at all? Very shiny. On the other hand, it is Arkis where jackfruit behavior is ideal. All fairs in the battle of killers.
Base-building becomes well ruined with a special strategy that I have seen. A player will prepare an ornithopter – a tremendous venture, which considers all resources assemble and refining that goes into it – and takes it out for a spin. If they see some other opportunities to cut a spice jerk or resources, they descend, get out, and work.
When another player moves quickly, claims that the ‘Theopter’ is standing, and quickly makes a small base around him. The pilot returns to search for its ship now is closed inside someone else’s walls.
I should mention it the gamerAnd to be clear: Building a base around one’s ornithopter does not mean that you are now the owner of your ornithopter, which means that ‘the theor owner can no longer reach it. This can be in the form of sorrow as sorrow: you are not benefiting at all, you are just saddening someone else.
It is crooked because there is no real support. You cannot destroy the base of another player to free your vehicle, you cannot eliminate it because it is behind someone’s walls, and in a pve zone you cannot shoot other players either, so that you can feel better.
This means that you fall on all the pilots. Be careful where you land, because that land can be from someone else until you come back.
