One of the early rivals of Nvidia, Matrox was well known for its high quality graphics cards in the 1990s.
Although it eventually moved away from the mainstream gaming market, the company has been professional and active in multi-display environment, including the Las Vegas strip away from the Las Vegas strip, the supply of performance systems for the area, mass music and entertainment site.
Now, Matrox is preparing to issue a new dual-GPU graphics card with the aim of powering the walls of the video and multi-display setup.

Upcoming Matrox Luma Pro A380 octal There are two Intel Arc A380E GPU and eight mini display 2.0 output, allowing it to drive up to four 8K displays or eight 5K screens at once.
The A380 octal is a single-slot pcie 4.0 x16 card and includes 12GB GDDR6 memory with 130W power requirement and active cooling.
Supported APIs include DirectX 12 Ultimate, OpenGL 4.6, Vulcan 1.3, and OpenSL 3.0, making it compatible with a wide range of professional software environment. Powerdesk software of Matrox and its Mura Developer Tools are also supported.
In terms of capabilities, the card may distribute high-quality videos in eight synchronized displays, including HDR, VESA DSC compression, adaptive sinks and support for HDCP 2.3. The maximum bit depth reaches 36 bits per pixel. Users can also stream multi-channel high-definition audio through four digital outputs.
According to Matrox, two cards can be used in the same system and frame-lock for synchronized output.
The lineup provides similar features with a second model, A380 quad, single GPU instead of eight mini displayers, 6GB memory and four full -sized displayport connectors. The quad model draws less power and is aimed at low -demand applications.
There is no word on pricing or availability for either model. Matrox only lists them as “coming soon”.
