I like podcasts very much, but I do not always want to reach my phone. Fortunately, I have found various ways to enjoy right on my smart TV.

Dedicated podcast apps installing
In a way, I listen to podcast on my smart TV, using dedicated podcast apps. I have a TCL TV, which runs on Google TV, so there are many apps available, which are dedicated to podcasts, such as Honey Podcast and Capsule Podcast. I found these apps by searching directly in Google Play Store from my TV.
Many popular podcast apps, unfortunately, are not dedicated smart TV apps. Nevertheless, I have got great success by searching in just the Play Store. If you use a TV with a separate operating system, such as LG or Samsung, you can also reach their app store and look for podcast apps. I am sure you will find different types of options to choose.

Using YouTube to watch podcast episodes
Another way that I listen to podcast on my smart TV, it is through the YouTube app. YouTube is a video site, of course, but many podcasts have also hugged the platform and regularly uploaded a full video or audio version of their episodes. The video works very well, especially to show that the visual story bends, like an interview, and it has made YouTube a kind of universal hub for the format.
As a result, the YouTube is filled with podcast in a wide range of categories. You can use the search option to find out if your favorite podcast is available on YouTube. There is also a dedicated section for podcasts that you can open by opening and navigating the sidebar menu More> podcast,
Another thing about youtube I like how many creators upload small clips or highlights from their episodes. These snippets are great when I do not have time for full episode or want to sample a new show before committing it. And since it’s youtube, I can save a podcast for myself Look after Create a playlist or even a custom playlist to classify the episodes that I am planning to hear later.
However, while youtube podcast is a great way to see, I believe that not every podcast uploads on the platform, so this is not a complete solution.

Using streaming app with podcast libraries
In recent years, many music streaming apps have expanded their catalogs to include podcasts. For example, Amazon Music, Spotify, and Deezer are all apps known for music, which is now double as a podcast platform.
Another example is tunin, a live radio streaming app that provides podcast in addition to music and radio. If you have access to one of these apps, you may not need to install anything new or go through the problem of casting from your phone.
The best thing about using the streaming app is that, unlike YouTube, these apps have a clean interface and easy navigation like dedicated apps. For example, it’s hurry to find new episodes or start again where I left. Some of these services also provide exclusive materials that you will not find anywhere else. Casting from my phone
Sometimes, the podcast I want is not available on YouTube or any dedicated app. In these cases, I cast my phone to smart TV. I have both an Android and an iOS device, but since my TV does not support the airplay, I use a crost to stream the podcast from my phone. For example, in the pocket cast, you can cast these steps and cast it on a crostant-compatible TV:

choose Chromecast From the displayed sheet.

Finally, choose your TV name in pop-up, and you are all sets.

Although it may not seem clear at first, listening to podcast on your TV is easy to think. I like to use apps, dedicated or not, to catch my favorite show. Nevertheless, I understand that this is not possible in all cases. Therefore, apart from YouTube and streaming apps, I also use casting.
Despite your setup, there is a method that suits you. Try each method and see what the best works for you in most cases. However, do not write any method; It can be useful in a certain position.
