The web browser of Google Chrome for Android devices is eventually catching a remarkable design change that is a safari made with 2021 introduction of iOS 15: it is offering the address bar to the bars to move the bottom of the screen.
The company announced on Tuesday that the latest version of its chrome for Android browser will now allow users who prefer modern experiences, designed to be easier to use on mobile devices, to set their address bar below their screen instead of top. After learning from Apple’s pre -challenges, Google is not forcing all its users to change. Instead, it is adding a new feature that allows users to configure the location of the address bar as per their choice.

To take the address bar under the screen, long -res on the bar and then select the option to take it down. You can also configure the location of the address bar in the Chrome’s Settings menu.
Users often prefer this option, as it keeps the address bar closer where they are catching their phone, allowing them to type more comfortably.
When Apple first updated, some users revolted against the change, complaining that the placement of the bar, which initially floated above the page content, was problematic because it made some websites almost unusable. The bar would block various elements, which users needed to tap, they said, which requires them to swipe the bar down and out of the way. Others just did not like the change.
In response to the user response, Apple moved the bar to the bottom of the page content, and made it an alternative option unlike default.
Google is reaching the design update in the same way by allowing users to make decisions.
The company said that this feature will start appearing on Android devices starting today and would roll out all users in the front.
