As generic artificial intelligence (GNAI) Enterprise Operations, Governance, Risk and Community (GRC) redefince the function, sit at the crossroads of changes and accountability. The general narrative focuses on “lack of effort” – how many hours of automation can be rectified. But that is the table steak.
In “Security, Risk and Compliance in the world of AI agents”, I discussed how agent AI’s attack called how we think about risks, trust and control, how to re -examine it. Here, I want to challenge the story of shortage in automation-operated efforts and instead a new archtype, The Complex Super Soldier: a forward-operating human professional, decision-equipped, equipped with decisions, replaced, foresight and moral logic-enhanced–which has not been replaced by Jeenai. This is not just a rescue against untouchability. This is a call to take action for GRC professionals, rapidly level.
This change shows the failed systemic risk of investing in investing: weak governance, iconic decline and operational fragility. But there is a similar risk on the human side of the remaining static in one world that is growing rapidly. As we find out what this development is, we should understand both technical disruption and necessary new strategic currency.
