Another day, another redmagic product to review. This time it is an Estra Tablet, which is a piece of hardware centered towards gamers.
It has unavoidable problems, but there are many benefits – especially if you are a gamer, which we will believe that if you are reading these words. So without further movement, here are our views on the latest bit of redmaijic kit.
Out of box

Directly it is another heavy feeling of technology from redmaigic. Hefty may not be the right word, but it looks solid and reliable out of the box.
The edges are rounded with corners, which work with surprisingly small size. But this size was misleading, as we learned soon.
Overall, the look is also not ‘gamer friendly’-which was actually welcomed in the past considering some of the efforts of Redmaik, which has certainly swept away a lot of off-patting gamer style chic. Transparent back plate is enough for you what the tablet is going in this regard.
The parade-down design involves the selection of ports, which has a USB-C available. Along with this, the camera does not have a lens, which makes the Estra comfortable to hold for a long time.
How does it perform?

Well, the first thing you notice is that Estra has a large-scale impressive 9-inch OLED screen. Whatever we played or saw super crisp with vivid colors and deep blacks.
Although the above camera is fine, but we suspect that you are going to use it for much photography.
It is playing games where Estra comes in itself, as was expected. It also offers 512 GB storage, including a Snapdragon 8 Elite and 16 GB RAM.
This handled every game that we thrown on it, from the intensive competitive PVP title to the top of the line, graphically influential JRPGS.
A feature that was clearly playing on Estra was also its active cooling system, which ensures that it does not become a red warm hand burning slab of pain. Very welcome. The battery life was also solid, often the days were going without the need for a charge despite regular use.
Gamer friendly?

In terms of the performance of the game play, we have no complaints. But there are some other elements for Estra that will be interested in gamers.
The first game space, which allows you – through a small red switch on top of Estra – to switch between the standard OS of the tablet and a more console concentrated set up.
From here you can use your game, but from the performance settings to the set up, adjust it how you play each one. You can also capture the video and download a host of plugins to improve your gaming experience (or change). You can also use a redmaijic phone as a controller.
In addition, perhaps there is a slight more suspicious addition of Mora. It is effectively an anime girl avatar that appears in the background on the menu of the tablet and creates separate comments – more relevant than the superfluses is more relevant than how much battery you have. You can fortunate to turn off this feature if it is not your bag.
worth it?

We feel that if you are a gamer in the need of a new Android tablet, you should consider the Redmagic Estra vigorously.
It is powerful, a good shape – fitting in almost any bag – and provides some very interesting features for gamers. We feel that there is a place for further improvement in the context of features, which encourages us to see what the Redmagic has planned further.
