
Google has so far patted another important security bug in Chrome, which means all you use browser should update ASAP. On Monday, the company revealed a high-seriousness vulnerability that may allow a remote assailant to run malicious code on your system.
In its Issue notes for the latest version of ChromeGoogle pointed to the security defect tagged as CVE-2025-6554. V8 is an open-source JavaScript and Webassasembly engine that Google uses in Chrome. Here, a programming problem in the code can give a remote attacker to steal data, install malware, or create malicious web pages designed to handle your system. The vulnerability has already been exploited in the wild, which means that bad people are on it and have been used to target chrome users.

How to update chrome
To update the chrome, open the browser, click on the three-dot icon at the top, proceed to help, and choose about Chrome. The program will automatically download and install the latest updates. Relach Chrome, and you will be fully preserved, at least until the next significant vulnerability is rolled around.
Chrome has a history of being hit by security defects, many of them are important. Google responds quite rapidly with the required patch.
