The ICC attack reflects the widespread global tendency of cyber criminals and nation-state actors that target judicial institutions. In the US, court systems have faced a cyber attack wave in the last one year, including ransomware incidents affecting Jackson County, Missouri, Visconsin Court, Kansas Court and Fulton County, as well as denial of refusal attacks on Pennsylvania Courts.
