We are fast coming near the release of iOS 26. Apple has been hard at work, and we are all determined to bring to the table.
A small but powerful feature in iOS 26 is that the sign-in details for the captive Wi-Fi network are now coordinated in iPhones and iPads running iOS 26 and iPados 26. If you have dealt with the annoyance of the captive Wi-Fi network, you know how tired it can be to run and run every device, and this feature will make it easier.
Creative strategies analyst Max Venback found this facility and Posted about it on X Living in a hotel. His iPhone asked him if he wanted to fill Wi-Fi details from his iPad, which was already connected to the hotel network.
If you are a passenger or just someone who enjoys public Wi-Fi (with one of the best VPNs), this feature will enable you to log in to all your devices more quickly.
This is not the first time we have mentioned this facility. Bloomberg reported that Apple was working on it, but when Apple did not mention the feature during his WWDC presentation, we were sure that it was coming down. We have heard that Apple iOS 26 is working on many other facilities, which was not even announced, so it is not a facility, it is not shocking.
When you can get your hands on iOS 26 (if you are not interested in testing beta), we hope that it will be released in September, as it usually when Apple exits its major updates (although the company is changing things with its naming conference this time).
Apple’s iOS 26 is expected to bring tons of new upgradation. For example, we tried Apple’s upgrade carplay in iOS 16 and were greatly influenced by its new forms and features.
