LG C5 OLED TV displays colorful, abstract imagery against a white background. The following words are also displayed on the screen:

C5 2025 has a mid-range OLED of LG. It offers an incredible photo, a intensive collection of gaming enrichment and lots of collections of additional features. It also comes with a stand, while LG G5 does not.

    Shortcoming

    • Redsigned remote will not be for everyone
    • No ATSC 3.0 Tuner or HDR 10+ support
    • Unclear quality quality

    LG G5 OLED TV

The G5 2025 has a flagship of LG. It gives an incredible picture with the most bright highlights found on an OLED TV. It is also packed with facilities. As one of the newest TV in the brand, you are unlikely to get enough discounts on the G5, and the TV stand is sold separately.

    Professionals

    • Almost unique brightness for an oLED
    • Gorgeous
    • Terrible gaming features

    Shortcoming

    • A little expensive for what you get
    • No ATSC 3.0 tuner

LG has just released its 2025 OLED TV lineup, and uncertainly, these models are among the best TVs you can buy now.

The main LG G5 on the Tippy-Top of the lineup is. It is one of a handful of OLED TVS in 2025 that takes advantage of the all-new, 4th generation OLED panel of the LG display.

Below the G5 is the mid-range LG C5 OLED, an incredible, five-star TV that combines stellar display with more agreed value tags than the flagship G5.

They share many of the same features and design elements, but you should really know what separates them before reaching your credit card. Fortunately, I am performing experience tests and TV reviewing more than a decade, and I am super-familiar with both these LG OLEDs.

These are similar TVs, but let’s break some major differences.

G5 supports 4K gaming at 165Hz, but C5 is capted at 144Hz. Unless you are planning to use one of these TVs with gaming PCs, you do not need to worry yourself with this difference, as the current-generation console is the top out at 120Hz for 4K game.

G5 also taps a better processor, but most of the benefits here are behind the curtain. In terms of user experience, they are largely the same.

Dolby Vision Support is in the card for both these TVs, although HDR10+ is absent. I will not worry too much about this, however, Dolby Vision is a more popular format in various streaming platforms.

The C5 has a slight edge when it comes to the availability of size compared to its soup-up cybbing. The C5 series has 42- and 48-inch models for those who want a small size TV, or for people who want to use LG OLED TV as a monitor.

Last year, LG included its G series with a 55- and 65-inch versions of the OLED. However, the All-New G5, however, Not there. Come with a stand at any size point, as LG believes that most people plan to take advantage of TV’s gap-free, wall-mounted design.

You can see the separately sold stand of G5 in the photo above. It is a strong, pedestal-style stand that tightens screws in the back of the panel.

The G5 is quite thicker than the C5, but it is that the panel can sit a flush against a wall.

C5 (seen above) includes a stand in the box. This makes it a more sociable option, although it will not look smooth when climbing the wall.

I dig up the presence of a slab of the C5 stand, which praises the thinness of the TV’s eyes.

Both TVs arrive with a new, slim-down remote, which we watched on the previous LG magic remotes.

These clicks provide controls such as motion-active, WII that is known for LG TV remotes, but they do not have an input button. This is, for me, a serious boomer, because whenever you swap input, you have to pull the TV menu.

While I cannot understand how good the G5 looks in its wall-mounted formation, no one denys that more people are in the market for a TV with a stand. (It also helps that C5 is a serious -looking TV.)

Thanks to its 4th generation OLED panel from LG display, the G5 is one of the most bright OLEDs we have ever tested, rivaling only QD-Olads from Sony and Samsung.

When you make it a factor with an incredible contrast OLED display, you get a shiny picture with a unique sense of depth.

Do not make any mistake, however: C5 is not a slut when it comes to brightness. It is not equipped with the latest panel of LG display, but with highlighting the brightness of more than 1,000 notes, you will still have a lot more Uh And Ah But.

The increased glow of the G5 truly creates a difference during cinematic, HDR-masted material.

G5 also provides a bright overall picture. Day TV, Sports Broadcast, YouTube video, you name it – G5 is going to pack more of a punch.

Are you to keep these TVs together, you can also see bright, boulder color on G5. It does not offer gobsmackingly pure colors that we expect from quantum dot-added OLEDs, but it covers more than 80% recipe. 2020 Color Sargam, and it is a great imagination to be in your back pocket.

In almost every other way, these TVs are equally impressive. Both LG’s filmmakers offer incredible out-of-the-box accuracy in Mode and both sub-10ms input delays. They are just terrible TVs.

However, no one is denying the performance chops of G5. Its enlarged brightness truly creates a difference during cinematic, HDR-master materials. This is the primary reason for spending more on G5.

    Winner: LG G5

LG C5 vs LG G5: Smart Platforms and Features

It is very straightforward: C5 and G5 are almost identical when it comes to software and features.

Both of them are built around the Webos 25, the newest version of the LG ownership smart platform. Is it my favorite? No. But, for most people, the webos would be fine as a daily driver. Its app support is relatively strong, and while there is a group of sponsored materials everywhere, navigation is very easy.

With a new AI button on the remote, C5 and G5 provide several AI-based features. The purpose of these new bells and whistles is to streamline how users search for new content and users maintain preferences to see preferences in profiles.

There is also an AI chatbot aims to help people navigate TV software and choose what to see next. I have not used this feature enough how I feel about it, but it is available on both models.

For gaming features, things are mostly the same in both models. As mentioned, each of all four inputs offers HDMI 2.1-clant. This is good, because you will not have to think very difficult to use any given device.

C5 and G5 also arrive with smooth gameplay with variable refresh rate (VRR), Auto Low Laquetan Mode (AllM), AMD FREESYNC premium and G-SYNC compatibility.

And, although G5 supports 4K gaming at 165Hz, C5 tops 144Hz. I will not sweat this until you were expecting C5 as a monitor.

For most viewers, these sets are basically the same when it comes to features. An argument can be made that the maximum approach of the G5 must win a win in this category, but I cannot bring myself to divide those hair.

When comparing the scores out of 100, a difference between 94 and 95 does not seem much. But the HDR highlight brightness packed within the difference of that 1-point, better color volume and extra-hot, to know that you are buying a top-of-the-line, flagship TV.

If you are the type of person who knows deeply, they will never be satisfied without those warm feelings, then it would be appropriate to spend more on the major model.

Now, 65-inch LG G5 is at $ 2,999 best byeIt is a spicy meatball, but it is also $ 400 from its specific price, so you have found that going for you.

On the other end, 65 inch LG C5 bus went on sale for $ 1,799This is about $ 1,000 from its normal price, and we are talking about one of the best OLED TVS of the year.

For most people, C5 is just a better condition. Its relatively fair price tag is a big reason why it earned a five -star rating in our review. If you do not object to leaving some significant performance benefits on the table, it would be the perfect center for a living room or home theater.
