It is no surprise that fitness companies love subscription models: it guarantees prolonged income after the initial purchase of smartwatch or fitness tracker.
Most of the big names of business now give you the option to pay monthly fees to unlock additional insights from your health data, and have additional features for your apps and equipment.
Dr. Digital Health of Samsung, Dr. Comments made by Hon Pak have revealed that a health subscription is an idea that is also a Samsung “search”, and it is probably something that will be declared with the Galaxy Watch 8 or Galaxy Ring 2.
This, of course, will have a knock-on impact for the best Samsung phone and all other devices where you will find the Samsung Health app.
While I think I am right to this extent as far as digital subscriptions go, there are some specific ways that Samsung can entice me to sign up for another service – but it will make it worth my time.

I am eager to improve my health and fitness, but I don’t really know where to start: YouTube video and how-for those who articles, AI coaching and social media affects, there is a huge amount of advice. I really need a reliable source that will help me with everything from workout plans to nutrition advice.
If something like this can offer Samsung Health, I will consider paying for it. Whether it is video, personal guide, or something else, I need some clarity what I should do to live a healthy life.
I want to see real progress as a result of my membership, however, is it capable of running faster for a long time, or jumping out of bed with extra energy – otherwise what am I paying for? At least if it is a membership of the month-by-month, I will have the option to cancel it if nothing is changing.
2. Features that really save me money

There are some handful of digital subscriptions for which I happily pay money, and those who are in all they help me do my work better and more efficiently. Membership that saves me time or means that I can work, are effectively paying for myself, or even saving me all over.
For example, take YouTube premium. YouTube can certainly be used for free, but paying means that I save a lot of time to see and click through advertisements, and this means that I do not have to pay for Spotify (because youtube music is included).
So what would it look like for a health subscription? Perhaps a payment app, meditation app and nutrition app have been paid for subscription, and can consolidate them all.
To make this deal even more sweet, how about money from Samsung Vierables? Certainly a win for Samsung.
3. Data insights which are really practical

It has become clicht for health membership to provide more advanced insights into your data: often, it is a vague promise that often does not actually give too much amount. For example, Garmin connect+, promises something called “active intelligence” that clearly gives users “personal insight and suggestions” (operated with the help of AI, of course).
I really welcome a very practical insight, although no one has solved this problem significantly. Fitness trackers receive a wealth of data each day, many of which are never properly seen, such as rems of photos supported for cloud storage.
Give me tips and advice that are really useful, Samsung. What is every 5-A side game in increasing my fitness? What days of the week do I need more inspiration to exercise? Do I drink more water if I fall asleep first? I help to create an understanding of the data that I am depositing, and I can sign up well.
What Samsung has to escape: trapping users

Something that still cautions me to sign up for another digital subscription, is afraid that I will still be closed in another product and another ecosystem – until I do not want to overcome data and features, until I have come to trust.
This is something you must have seen in the most recent series black Mirror: A pair is trapped in a membership that gradually adds more and more advertisements (what is that, Netflix?) And removes more and more features. The experience becomes really terrible – but not taking membership is worse.
Samsung Health already supports services such as Android’s Health Connect, and data from any extra that provides a subscription should not be discontinued – but is available to export and use elsewhere, and in other forms.
