- Apple has just released iOS 26 Developer Beta 3 update

When Apple unveiled the iOS 26 at its WWDC 2025 event in June, everyone had talks on the lips. This has brought the effects of glass to Apple’s operating system and divided the opinion on a large scale, but the latest iOS 26 Beta has dial it quite back – and I was happy to see it.
Compared to previous sons, iOS 26 Beta 3 has added slightly more ambiguity to the interface elements, which reduced their transparency in the process. The toolbar and button are now slightly more solid, making it difficult to see what is under them.
This addresses one of the major criticisms of liquid glass so far: that it is very difficult to read the elements of the top level when the text or the pictures appear below them. By adding more ambiguity, Apple has gone somehow to insert that right.
This is not the first time Apple has made the liquid glass twine. In iOS 26 Beta 2, the company reduced the transparent of buttons and boxes in the control center, which was particularly difficult to read in the previous release. There will be no doubt that further adjustment will be made before the fall of iOS 26 is fully launched.
