If you want to score some techniques or home appliances for less, Amazon Prime Day is a perfect time to do so without a doubt. Retail giants make no secret to the fact that it reduces prices across the board, which bids you to convince you to buy what you always wanted (or really things you never knew).
Is there not a secret that Prime Day is especially for customers of Amazon’s major membership.
As I have discovered this week, however, Amazon keeps one mystery or two (or at least, tried), and in some examples, prime and non-prime members show different listing pages. If you want, call them ‘secret’ major prices.
Allow me to explain. If you are not a prominent member and you come in a list for something that you want to buy, then you will not be shown a deal card more often that suggests that the list is “especially for Amazon Prime members” and a link to join service.
If you are a major member, you will see the best value available to you, no questions were asked.
Then there are select items that will show a concessional value, but your major membership can change the discount based on the status. Worse, there is no indication that it is a major day deal (and there is no sign that it is not, either).
Unclear? There is an example here. I found a list of AU $ 899 below the KSM-150 stand mixer listed for AU $ 619. A great savings, I am sure you will agree. However, I am not a prominent member, and since there is no deal card that is a better, prime day deal, I think the best price for it is.
Not enough. Some of my colleagues have major memberships and take accurate equal listings, a concessional value of AU $ 499, a major difference of AU $ 200. Then, there is no indication that this is a major day special.
No poems or reasons are visible about which products are selected for Secret Prime Day deals, as we have found a variety of products to get different discounts, including cameras, drones and other kitchens gadgets.
