Skull & Company released a very good Neogrip for the OLED switch back in 2021, which we reviewed at that time, with the assumption that, a Fidley Holding Tab that may probably lose, the grips helped make long portable sessions more comfortable.

With this switch 2 update, Skull and Company Negarip for Nintendo Switch 2, Savez Reven, which comes under the same ‘Savez Reven’ banner as the company’s outstanding switch 2 carry case (which we have also reviewed!), Has not really changed.

Once again, you are made a well -made, high quality plastic sheaths are treated, which the console safely slides, a little before it is fixed in place with tabs. Three sets of grip style are clicked in place to recover your choice again.

The design here, almost completely as perfectly, has seen a slightly clever amendment, how its fixing tab now clicks using a switch that it should be safe all the time. You can still lose small tabs, mind, if you take it off, take it incorrectly, although the old design also had the ability to clip when a hit against things, so at least that issue is resolved this time.

There are no separate screws or screw holes for the OG switch behind the plastic brace for this amendment, so it is a cleaner overall product design – although one that will only fit your switch 2. You cannot win all.

As mentioned, this Neogrip pack comes with console brace/sheath and three different types of grip. The middle-gold grip, which has been fitted as a default on accessory, is finished that I am using most of the time, because its angular top gives me somewhere to relax my fingers.

However, both large grips and the smallest flat default Joy Con are absolutely improved on small grip bumps. I am always slipping or cramping those people, so I am happy with the upgrade, thank you.

In fact, I am currently doing mid-review of a game, and for reviews I naturally try to play as much as possible on TV, because I have stupid adult hands that are tight in portable mode on a bunch of switch, switch OLED, switch 2 … and other handles console. My hands in the middle-grips here look fine, with zero pin and needles or cramps, and that after the entire morning playing without a stop. Result!

As you can see from the pics, the color used for grips and braces is also a very, very close match for the stylish finish of the console, so you are not wasting your new tech vibi, and even the big grip, with a round top from its bulb, looks quite thin and sclery than a side profile. One of my pets, no matter how good the secondary sounds, is that when it becomes an off-colored and makes the console look cheaper which does not match considerable, and it is not an issue here. I would leave it permanently if it was not for the fact that Khushi Con needs to come so many times.

Fortunately, it is so easy to take and close it – yes, even for an ancient Moran as if I – that I can see myself slipping every time I am resting on the couch for some ninendo time. What happens 17 times a day, you understand.

And in relation to the dock of the console, with the grip and the brace attached, there is no problem for the switch 2 that you can slide in and out smoothly, so you can leave it while playing on TV.

Overall, then, it is an easy recommendation if you are looking for a little more purchase on your switch 2 joy con in handheld mode, and an upgrade that is actually feeling my console as a good fancy controller when I am playing while walking.

    • Good construction quality, strong and well made.
    • Color fully matches the console
    • Three grip shapes offer a lot of choice
    • The clip designed again is Tidier compared to the preceding
    • Fits the dock
    • More colors will be welcomed in the range
    • The clip is still a bit by nature

    Great 8,10
