    You can ask Gemini Ai anything directly in Google Chrome – here it is told how and why you should do

    Google’s Gemini AI is accessible from its own web page as well as through the respective mobile app. But another way of tapping in Gemini is directly within Google Chrome. With Gemini in Chrome option, Google’s AI will provide information on the current web page, allowing you to do live speaking with Gemini and other AI-based tasks. You can trigger Gemini via a keyboard shortcut and make the settings to manage AI.

    As usual, however, there are certain conditions.

    Gemini in Chrome requires one of the two AI memberships of Google-$ 20-Mahne Google AI Pro Plan or $ 250-Mahine Google Al Ultra Plan. Sorry, this means that free Gemini users are out of the loop. This feature only works in the desktop version of Chrome, either in Windows or MacoS. In addition, it is supported only as a chrome language in the operating system with English sets in the US.

    But if you qualify, Chrome is a quick and convenient way to ask AI for direct help from the Gemini browser in Chrome. Now, let’s see how it works.

    Next, make sure that you are running the latest version of Chrome. Open the browser and click on the three-dot icon on the upper right. Go to help and choose about Google Chrome. The latest version will automatically download and install. Return the chrome to apply the update.

    In Chrome, click on the Three-Dot icon and select the settings. In the settings screen, you should see an entry called AI Innovation with an option for Gemini in Chrome. Click on the option to see the menu of opt-in settings.

    As usual, choosing which settings is a personal choice to enable, is based on how much you want to protect your privacy from Google. Very at least, you may want to enable settings to show Gemini in the system tray and turn on the keyboard shortcuts, using your microphone and sharing page content.

    Enable Gemini in Chrome

    You should see a star icon at the right end of the title bar in Chrome. The hover on it, and it will showcase a toolip called the show Mithun in Chrome. The first time you click on the icon, a window is pop up to explain how Gemini uses some ingredients that you share. If you are fine with it, click on the button for yes, I’m inside.

    Gemini displays a menu with some options that vary depending on your current page. For example, you can be able to learn about the current web page, find a subject, or simply know what Gemini can do. Click on the option to know what Gemini can do if it appears. Chrome then displays a list of tasks for which Gemini can help you.

    To try Gemini, browse on a web page for which you want to get information, analysis or help. If the menu is closed then click on the Gemini icon again. On the prompt in the menu, type your request. Maybe you want to summarize the Gemini page or perhaps you want to ask specific questions. Submit your request, and AI will answer as usual.

    Perhaps you will chat with Mithun about the current web page or any other subject. In the Gemini menu, click on Go Live button. If it is not already active for chrome, you will be motivated to enable your microphone. Speak your question and then you can interact back and forth with AI.

    In this case, I asked Mithun how to clean the cookies in Chrome, and it gave me accurate steps. I then asked a follow -up question to clean cookies for specific websites in Chrome. Then, it responded with the right steps.

    To see a transcript of your conversation, click on the keyboard icon in the Gemini menu.

    With Gemini web page and mobile apps, you can choose the model you want to use. Currently, the AI fast offers an option between the 2.5 flash for the 2.5 Pro for Math and Coding, Math and Coding. Click on the drop-down menu for Gemini at the top of the menu and select the model you want to use.

    You can easily see your chat and manage. Click on the three-dot icon at the top of the Gemini menu. From here, you can start a new chat, continue your current chat in a new tab, and reach the history of your chat. Gemini sinks all your conversations whether they are in Chrome, on the web page, or in the mobile app, so you can always see your entire history.

    Finally, you are capable of returning to settings for Gemini in Chrome. From the Gemini menu, click on the Three-Dot icon and select the option for open chrome settings. Then you can review any settings and even ask Mithun for help or advice how to set them.
