As the race to bake AI features in productivity apps is intensified, slack is increasing the search on its app with AI features, adding transcription and summary to the boddle, and is a way to look at the recurrence of channels and threads.
Using AI, Slack now lets you find the relevant files and conversations on the surface with the channels (eg Google Drives, Cellsforce and Teams). This facility will be available on slack business and enterprise plans.

The company is using AI using AI, which is with call transcription and summary to call the company’s voice and video chat feature, and the app will automatically highlight the major action items brought in the call.
And to help users catch conversations, Slack would offer summary of messages in a channel or thread if you were away.
The company said it would be a way for users to get a summary of another user’s profile, which reflects their role and recent work. The tabs of activities also have plans for a feature that will take the action items to the surface when you are looking at a message.

Slack said it is working on a feature that will allow you to use AI to explain a message in the context of the conversation given to you.

For canvas, a collaborative panel that allows users to share guides, documents, and information, the company plans to add AI-managed writing assistant that will help users to create canvas from any conversation or change the formatting of existing materials.
