I struggled As long as I can remember with insomnia. I originally tried every sleep assistance on the market, as well as I need a sound machine, sleep mask, blackout curtains, and weighted blankets, even to start the process of trying to sleep. So I decided to try something new.
For the past several months, before bed, on and off, I have worn Somni, a weedable sleep tech headband, which is aimed to map using the brain. Electroncephalogram) Sensors to give personal medical stimulation to help promote sleep.
The rechargeable headband charges on a dock at night, the viscous hydrogel electrode for the band that requires changing every few nights. At night, I wore Somni for 15 minutes, where my brain was “map” using those EEG sensors and Somni’s algorithms, which to give 15 -minute personal medical stimulation (in particular, TAC, or TAC, or Transacronial Alternative Current Stimulation) session at bedtime.

Originally, continuous, very low electric current (1 millimeter at 5 to 10 Hz) provides stimulation to the brain through the hydrogel electrode on my forehead and promotes healthy sleep at night. Somni claims that the excitement is individual in real time, reacting and shifting based on the rhythm of my own brain, so that the brain can be made optimal for a comfortable night sleep. The wearable technique is associated with an app (see the necessary membership, below), where you can monitor the “phase” of the session and see the session report, log in to your sleep journal, and track the sleeping trend over time.
Generally, I found that I found myself sleeping soon at nights, but I used the device, but not necessarily the night being completely sleeping. I doubt how personal the electrical stimulation session is, but Somni managed to sleep. However, perhaps the way the company intended in the way the company intended. Most of all, I found that Somni was a great way to improve my Sleep hygiene-Minening, being consistent with a pre-bedtime routine and apply wind-down practices to regulate the body to get ready for sleep.

Somni uses sensors and algorithms to obtain a common map of your brain and provides 15 minutes, individual electrical stimulation sessions. The same non -Electrical electrical stimulation technique is used for everything from targeted muscle recovery to more common disorders, such as anxiety. The stimulation of the device reacts in real time in the rhythm of each person’s brain, which according to Somni better balances “sleep inertia, duration and depth”. Website,
