Thunderbolt 5 is a part of the latest laptop line-up, whether we are ready for it or not. The TB5 piles of incredible speed, excellent reliability and other characteristics that make it great. However, if your laptop has a thunderbolt 5, why don’t you want your docking station to support it so that you can take advantage of all speeds?
From Ivanky, Fusiondock Pro is a single dock with 3 styles. He has a tower design and deck design. The tower is designed to stand upright, like the old Nintendo Wii. And the deck style looks like every other docking station that you can think about.
I caught the deck model as it would be better in my field area. The model has three Thunderbolt 5 ports, a port to connect to the laptop, 140W charging, a 2.5GBE network, several USB-A ports, a SD card reader and a headphone jack. Overall, it adds 11 ports to your MacBook Pro, Dell Pro, Lenovo or any other laptops you have.
Regarding all the best docking stations supporting TB5, one thing to note with the bat is that you can use this dock with any USB-C-SAC device; However, you will not get full speed functioning until thunderbolt 5 ports are available in your machine.
Ivanky Fus zocal Pro 3: Pricing and Availability
Fushycock Pro 3, as a tower, is $ 459 on the website of Ivanki. The deck I caught is $ 439.99 on the same website, which makes a powerful docking station a more tasty.
You can buy this new released docking station from Ivanky’s website, Amazon or B&H.
Ivanky Fusiondock Pro 3: Unboxing and first impression
The FusionDock Pro 3 is a plain looking device. However, it looks enough and durable with a weighty feel. Additionally, the metal cover gives it a strong experience, suggesting that it can withstand that it can withstand some hits and bumps without breaking.
One thing that shocked me was the size of power brick, but then, it can produce my laptop up to 140W power, so I should not be surprised that it has a heavy electric brick.

Ethernet: 2.5Gbe
PD: 140 W upstream, 60 w downstream PD
The Fushyzock Pro 3 has a simple, matte metallic shell with a matte in front and back of a matte black plastic. The port layout is straight and thought through it. While my personal priority for the desk setup determines if I prefer to be connected to the computer behind or behind the dock, for this, it is located in front.
In front of the dock, we have (left to right) power button, some indicator lights, laptops or 140W port for computer, a TB5 port, a USB-A port, SD card reader and then headphone jack. It is very understandable that the front is easily accessible, and I am happy to see a TB5 on the front. Many docks are hidden only in the back.
The dock has three USB-A ports, one RJ45 port, two TB5 ports and then a line of barrel connector. I am not a fan of barrel connectors, so I think some docks still use them.
Some other features worth mentioning are rubber pads at the bottom of the dock, which help prevent slipping, and many ventilation holes that keep the device cool, while it is working hard.
Ivanky Fusidock Pro 3: In Uses
I recently bought an M4 Pro MacBook Pro, which has the TB5 port, which I am more excited to try this docking station. In addition, there is also a handful of a fist (soon upcoming review) of the laptop with me for the test. In my trial, I was able to move the files back and forth between my laptop and my syntology bestation with my synology DS925+.
I was able to install an entire workstation through the same dock, without realizing that I was missing anything. I tested a single-monitor setup, dual-meinitor setup, and, using one of the laptops I have, even a triple-manner setup with this dock. I had to use an adapter for one of the monitor, however, which is an important thing.
This docking station, because it does not have HDMI or DP port, will require adapters to connect non-USB-C display. Many of the new monitor are compatible, but if it is not new, you will need to get USB-C or USB-C adapters or dongle to get USB-C or Displayport to get HDMI.
During testing, especially when the triple drives the display or moves large files, the docking station is slightly hot, but it never warmed up, nor does it activate a fan or any other similar mechanism. It is very speed to see a small dock that was not possible a few years ago, it was impressive.

Ivanky Fus zocked Pro 3: Final decision
Ivanky Fusiondock Pro 3 is an impressive Thunderbolt 5 docking station, available at a new price with state -of -the -art technology. If you do not need Thunderbolt 5, a separate, more cost -effective dock may be better for you. However, if you have a thunderbolt 5 in your computer and need to maximize the transfer speed, it is a great option for you in a docking station.
