How to nab a public grill
Quickly out. In Brooklyn, I run around 8 am in the weekend and claim the entire tents and chairs for grill space in advance. Folles like to set quickly, and it is not a bad idea that the summer morning is a bit cold, so you can set some sheds and if you forget anything I can send some shadow.
Ideally, you have located a free charcoal grill and you are ready with your marinated meat, dagger, fruits, vegetables or burgers.
What do you want for grilling
Beyond your meal, you will need some accounted to prepare for your charcoal-grilling adventure, including:
-
Coal scoop, rake or paper bag
-
Tongs
-
Foil
-
Charcoal Chimney, if liked
-
Charcoal
-
Water bottle
-
Aluminum pan
In an ideal world, people occupying this grill clean their ashes and spend coal. In fact, you will probably roll up to a grill that looks like this.

How to prepare a public grill for use
First, take out the old charcoal debris. If you feel that you will use public park grills, you can consider obtaining a dedicated tool like coal scoop. Otherwise, you can use a paper bag to scoop dust and debris from the grill and in a garbage bag.
Next, you are going to lighten your coals. You must be thinking: Wait, first of all, earn Great! But I save it for the next step because whatever is stuck will bring Greece to come Once it is a little hotI like to use a charcoal chimney, but my father likes to go to the charcoal pyramid route. (Pyramid method requires stacking charcoal briquettes in a pyramid shape and lighting them from the bottom.) Use whatever you like. Once your coal becomes ashes on the outward, you can arrange them in the area below the grill great.
Let the coal heat the grill great for about five minutes. It is like preheating an oven, with the additional advantage of loosening any stuck on the crust from previous grilling sessions. Now This is the time to scrape the Great. Some aluminum in a ball lift the foil up and hold it with long metal tongs. Use the tongs to clean the grill gratus by running the foil on each time.
What do you think so far?
Your Greats should now be hot and cleaned and ready to cook. Enjoy your afternoon of grilling and chatting with friends. Add more coal as required to continue grilling.
How to clean after grilling.
I like to follow the old saying, “Leave it better when you find it.” If you can see that your picnic guests are starting to slow down and the food is not flying from the plates quickly as before, then you can retire the grill. Stop eating and let the remaining coal run out. Some more aluminum raises the foil and scraper the bars down, while they are still hot so that you can leave the Great clean for the next user.

Depending on how big you used or grill you were, you may have to wait a while for your coals to die. This can be cured if the party is going for hours even after the party retires. If the coal is still hot, be sure to extinguish the coals with some water from the water bottle. The ash will be gross and slightly sloppy, but once they are no longer shining, you can scoop them into an aluminum pan and dispose of ash in a metal waste bin. (You can reuse the aluminum pan for this next time if you plan to re -do it.)

Most parks with grills will have a dedicated coal bin for this purpose – it is completely in a picture like a metal. Do not toss the coals used in a plastic or paper row bin, just in a situation when no coal is completely extinguished. Well done- Your Grilling Day is over. Tap yourself on the back to host a perfect summer.
