AGM Pad P2 Android Tablet
Key takeaways of zdnet
- AGM Pad P2 is available for $ 180 on Amazon.
- With a crisp performance, solid mid-range performance and decent battery life, it is a solid budget Android option.
- The case involved in Pad P2 is a bit flashing, so you may want to buy a third-party option.
Many people will say that due to cheap Android phones and tablets, there is a throat on global market shares. Billions of people on the planet simply cannot tolerate the price tag of the latest Galaxy Tab Ultra or iPad Pro, and this is the place where more economical Android options come in the game.
I have tested many inexpensive Android tablets over the years, and although when you put them under the microscope, they cannot perform at the level of flagship equipment, the truth is that for most people, they are fully capable of providing a satisfactory experience. The idea that all users require top tier hardware from $ 1,000 tablets, that is that the brand wants us to believe, but it is not necessary.

This is so AGM Pad P2This 4G LTE-competent Android tablet is less than $ 200, and has some very impressive features.
My experience
Cost-affect Android Tablet usually means mid-range hardware, older versions of OS and blotware. This time, I was taken wonderful. Although the AGM Pad P2 offers a low premium hardware experience, it ships with the latest Android 14 and very low blotware.
In fact, you get a fairly vanilla version of the operating system and three apps that you can not usually find on the tablet: FM radio, tabletmanagar and sim toolkit. In addition, it is a standard Android experience, and it is a good thing. Because there is no pair UI or blotware, the AGM Pad P2 actually goes out of the box. Apps open quickly, animations are smooth, and videos play without skipping or buffering (as long as you are on a decent network).

The only thing that gives the price is the case involved – which is furious. In the case a pen looks like a slot, but the tablet does not ship with one.
The performance is bright and clear, but certainly not the best I have ever seen. On sites with advertisements or graphics-intellect, the tablet may be a bit nervous when scrolling. Then, it is a midrange hardware, so it is to be expected. Fortunately, watching YouTube videos, one of the most popular use cases for a tablet – is a crisp and burden -free experience.
For those curious about how the camera performs, I found that it is making some of the $ 400 tablet on my tech shelf. The only warning is that while taking photos in portrait mode you do not get many editings (such as the ability to change blur percentage). However, Pad P2 captures photos, such as a sign of more expensive tablets, such as ipad air,
On a final note, battery life on PAD P2 is good, but not great. Depending on your use, you will easily get a full day from the same charge. The use of lighters (mainly web browsing and emailing) can increase that life for a few days. I left P2 in standby mode, and after a week, it still had 14% battery. He is also not dilapidated.

ZDNET purchase advice
I honestly cannot complain about the overall experience that came out of this cheap tablet. AGM Pad P2 Walks well, looks great, it contains the latest version of Android, looks quite decent, and has a rock-solid display. As I said, only one knock I can give that this is a great matter. While it is to bend and serve as a stand, it looks very delicate to catch for a long race. You can probably find a generic 11-inch case on Amazon which will work better.
Also: I replaced my iPad with this $ 100 Android Tablet – and it was very close
Until you expect high-end glasses and performance, the AGM Pad P2 will surprise you. It is available from Amazon only under $ 190, which is a theft for a tablet that will probably serve you for some time.
