When we fail to load properly, we have all crashed into boot-up problems. Only then a recovery drive can be used. But how many of us take time to set one? Well, Windows only provides a recovery facility that you cannot even feel.
Known as a recovery drive, this Legacy Tool lets you create a recovery environment to store on the external USB drive. If Windows ever has trouble launching, you will be able to boot your PC with recovery media. The tool works equal in both Windows 10 and 11.

There are certain conditions to take care. Windows are reset back in its initial factory position using a recovery drive. In particular, recovery stores all the underlying Windows files, when you set the drive, and install any adaptation from the PC manufacturer. Your own adaptation, your personal files, and any app you installed have been included, so you want to make sure that you have different backups of those items. I recommend the step-by-step guide of Ed Bottle to protect myself from the destruction related to data.
Recovery drive is similar to the reset option in Windows. The difference here is that the reset can maintain your personal files. However, you have to run the reset from within Windows, while the recovery drive can ride for rescue if Windows is not inaccessible.
However, since recovery drive removes your personal files and apps, you would like to use it as a final-khai attempt if you cannot reach Windows through any other means. It works like this.
To start with a recovery drive, connect the outer USB stick or drive to your PC. Ensure that the drive has at least 32GB free space. I have some external drives and many USB sticks that I use in my PC, most of which provide enough space to store a full Windows recovery environment.
