
US gaming and casino operator Boyd Gaming Corporation revealed that the danger actors faced a violation after the actors achieved access to their system and stole the data, including the employee’s information and data related to other individuals.
Boyd Gaming is a public American casino entertainment company with 28 gaming properties in ten states, including the management of a tribal casinos in Nevada, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, and Pennsylvania and a tribal casino in Northern California. The firm employs over 16,000 people and 2024 had an annual revenue of $ 3.9 billion.
In an 8-K filing with SEC on Tuesday evening, Boyd Gaming revealed that a recent cyber attack faced a cyber attack in which the attackers had access to their system.
The company says it worked with external cyber security experts to respond to the attack and notify law enforcement.
However, the actor of danger was able to steal data from the company’s system, including information about employees and individuals.

Bleepingcomputer contacted Boyd Gaming with questions about the attack, but no response was immediately available.
No ransomware gang or other danger actors have claimed responsibility for the attack.
