Instagram Threads, Meta’s latest social network and X competitive, Officially Transfer from the website threads.net to threts.com. In
Meta initially launched its new social app in July 2023 on URL Threads. (That startup was sold to Shopify last year.)
In September 2024, Meta acquired threds.com domain name and Later URL Threds.com began to redirect on threads.Net.
From today onwards, Meta states that users will no longer be redirected from .com to .NET; This will be another way.
Going forward, if you type in your browser at Threds.com, you will be directly without redirect on your threads home screen. Meanwhile, people who type in threads will be redirected to URL Threds.com.
This change gives meta a more prominent and better missed URL for its social app that now reaches more than 320 million monthly active users as the final public income declaration of Meta in January. The ribrand app of sorts can allow the app to better compete with its rival X, with a memorable (and simple!) Domain name.
Apart from this change, Instagram Head Adam Mosari on Thursday announced some other minor updates coming to the Threads Web app, which is often used by the creators.
He said that now users will appear their custom feed in the same order in the web app, just as they appear on the mobile app. In addition, users will now be able to reach their choice and saved posts through the main menu instead of creating a pinned column to see them.

Another new addition allows users to copy a thread post as an image instead of screenshot. This will make it easier to share threads posts in other apps, such as Instagram, Meta.
Threads users will also now be able to add a column by clicking a new column icon to the right of the screen.

And they will be able to open a new window and click on a plus “+” button on the bottom right to create a post.

There is also a new feature that allows people to find and follow the creators that they first follow on X. This facility was introduced earlier this month And users work by downloading a collection of their X data, which is uploaded to threads.
Those who had access to the first feature were shown a pop-up, stating that they can now “find popular creators from X.” Meta says that this facility remains in testing.
