    Microsoft announces fix for Spikes when typing in Outlook

    Microsoft says it will soon fix a known issue, making CPU spikes type messages in recent versions of its classic outlook email client.

    Microsoft says that the fix will start affected users in early May who set up the following builds:

    Outlook users who have to reduce this problem can return to 2405 version as a temporary work -round using the following steps:

    1. Find the construction of version 2405 for the concerned channel you are from Update history for Microsoft 365 Apps (Listed by date) – Office release notes,

    2. Open a command prompt (run as an administrator).
