On Wednesday, a new M4-operated MacBook Air, apart from Apple Launched A new Mac studio, its desktop computer for professionals, which require top-performance performance. The company is trying to do something new with Mac Studio as it lets you choose between M4 Max or M3 Ultra.
The Mac Studio begins at $ 1,999. Today’s proposals open, and it will be available in the Apple Store starting on Wednesday, March 12.
Interestingly, despite the version number, the M3 is the most recent addition to the M-series lineup of ultra chips. In Apple’s gender, the “Ultra” version is more powerful than the “Max” version (which is more powerful than the “Pro” version itself).
As the name suggests, the M3 Ultra is based on M3 Architecture. Apple has added the death of two M3 Max to create a single M3 Ultra using its Ultrafusion Architecture. Compared to M2 Ultra, the company says that customers can expect better performance with M3 Ultra. Apple says that this is “the most performing chip that has been made anytime.”
In technical terms, the chip contains a 32-core CPU with 24 performance core and eight efficiency core. It is also the largest GPU in any apple chip, with 80 graphics core. Overall, the M3 Ultra has 184 billion transistors.
As a reminder, the M4 Max Performs 14-core CPU with the performance core and four efficiency core, as well as a 32-core GPU. Despite being designed on another recent architecture, the M3 Ultra should perform much better than the M4 Max.
For $ 1,999, you get M4 Max with 36GB unified memory and 512GB storage. The M3 Ultra version starts at $ 3,999 and comes with 96GB unified memory and 1TB storage.
They are just base configurations. Whether you choose M4 Max or M3 Ultra, you can add more memory and storage before purchasing your computer.
If you find yourself by hitting the limits of the configuration tool on Apple’s website while looking at Mac Mini, then Mac Studio offers a lot of options. Customers can get 512GB RAM and 16TB storage.
Compared to the previous Mac Studio, the design seems unchanged, with most ports located behind the computer. You will find four Thunderbolt 5 ports and two traditional USB-A port for your heritage goods. There is also an HDMI port and 10GB Ethernet port. In addition, you can plug an audio device for trusted 3.5 mm headphone jack. Unlike Mac Mini, the power button is easily available behind the device.
In front of the computer, you will find one SD slot and two additional USB-C ports. If you choose an M4 maximum option, they are only the USB-C port (without thunderbolt capabilities). If you get an M3 Ultra, those ports are full -filled thunderbolt 5 ports.
This means that you can plug up to eight 6K displays or four 8k displays with Mc Studio equipped with M3 Ultra. So if you want to build a wall of the screen, they can now be operated by a single Mac.
