Google Wallet is again expanding its support for the official state ID, and it is adding a new way to verify your age while keeping your identity safe.
Soon, residents of Arkansas, Montana, Puerto Rico and West Virginia will be able to save the digital ID card issued by their official government, such as the driver’s license, in Google Wallet. Support for government IDs is already available in California, Maryland, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Georgia.

How to add your license to Google Wallet
To add your license to Google Wallet, open the app and tap “Ad to Wallet” at the bottom. You will see a list of available options. Choose “ID Card” and follow the instructions, including taking pictures in front and back of your ID and a small video of yourself.

Verification of your age
In addition, Google is working on a system for wallet that lets you verify your age while maintaining your privacy.
These days, many sites and services require an investigation of your license to verify how old you are, but the Google wallet is adding the “zero knowledge proof” technique. With ZKP, you will be able to prove your age in many devices, apps and websites without disclosing your personal information.
