Nacon Revolution X Unlimited Controller: One-minute review
The Nacon Revolution X is the latest premium Xbox controller from the unlimited gaming brand, and I think it is the best effort of the company. Essentially an upgrade on PS5-Sangat Revolution 5 Pro (although there is no playstation compatibility with this new gamepad), provides a similar experience with some notable new features unlimited.
Your eyes will immediately get ready for the underlying LCD display under unlimited. Typically, I am not one of these fans on the gamepad, because I think they can often eliminate game experience. On unlimited, however, the performance is very comfortable. It trims fat, provides strict options for button mapping, connected gaming headsets, wireless pairing and battery saving. For example, I find this revolution upgradation at 5 Pro.
Revolution X unlimited packs a premium price tag, but to sweeten the deal, Nacon has included swapble parts as well as a charging dock for quick and easy battery top-up. Higher smooth hall effects thumbstick, touch micro-switch face button, trigger locks, and throw into a pair of a set of four rimpeeperable buttons, and you have a premium suit that is worth investing.
Sadly, there are some shortcomings that keep it out of controversy for our best Xbox controllers and premium spots in the best PC controllers guides. For one, it is a fairly heavy controller, and an over-neutrality on plastic means that build quality is not enough that you will expect from a luxury pad.
But overall, if you are in the market for a high-end Xbox controller or PC controller with tones for your favorite games and tones with in-fly customization, I still recommend considering revolution x unlimited.
NACON Revolution X Unlimited Controller Review: Price and Availability
As a premium pad, the revolution X is a price tag of unlimited $ 199.99 / £ 179.99. You can buy one on Amazon in America along with Nacon’s own website and ARGOS in UK. This revolution is similar to 5 Pro that retails at $ 199.99 / £ 199.99, although X unlimited UK is £ 20 cheaper.
This value keeps unlimited in the ballpark of other premium Xbox controllers such as the Razor Volverine V3 Pro ($ 199.99 / £ 179.99), Thrstmaster Eswap X2 ($ 169.99 / £ 149.99), and the official XBOX Elite Wireless Controller Sirians 2 ($ 179.79.99.99.99.99.99.99.9.99. 1599).
All the same feature sets provide, including swapable stick and button module, remepable keys and controller layout profile creations.
I think the revolution X unlimited has an edge over the Elite X2 and Elite Series 2, thanks to the inclusion of the hall effect stick (they are separately sold for the thrustomaster’s pad) and the underlying performances that I was really found to be useful here. However, I prefer close construction quality introduced by Razor Wolverin V3 Pro.

Nacon Revolution X Unlimited Controller: Design and Features
In addition to the controller, you are receiving a lot of gifts in the revolution X unlimited box. The pad is placed in a streamlined carry case, where you will find a charging dock for wireless connectivity, 2.4GHz USB dongle, a 3M USB-C cable, a thin dust cloth and a small box that stores the swapable accessories.
In the said goods, two D-pads (one four-way and one eight-way with the latter on the controller by default), six thumbstick cap (two concave, four convex of different sizes), two metal stick rings to keep thumbsticks around), and two 0.49oz / 14g, two 0.49oz / 14G, two 0.49oz / 14G, two 0.49oz / 14G, two 0.49oz / 14G, two 0.49Oz / 14G, two 0.49Oz / 14G, two Additional Heft if you need pads to relax a little more in your hands.
Unlimited has a recognizable Xbox wireless controller-esk silhouette, but it is slightly wide and longer than the gamepad of Microsoft. This is better favorable for players with large hands as a result of unlimited.
Meanwhile, the overall construction quality is certainly not terrible, but I have never been a fan of the use of cheap-cheap plastic on Nacon controllers that are also present here. I had a habit of this, but it certainly seems less stronger than my Go-to Razor Wolverin V3 Pro.
This time the standout feature is undoubtedly underlying LCD display. As mentioned, I am usually not eager to see them on controllers such as turtle beach secretly or turtle beach stealth axis. They are usually quite dull and are not particularly comfortable in a pinch.
However, Nekon has kept it here. A quick press of a button found next to the left bumper activates the menu of the press display. The UI is incredibly responsible and limits options for necessary: audio for gaming headsets (including volume, mic monitoring, and a game/chat mixer), button mapping and wireless pairing options.
Nacon Revolution X Unlimited Controller: Performance
I am severely affected by revolution X unlimited when I talk about overall gaming performance and sports experience. I am glad that Nacon has chosen here for the hall effect stick, but of course, sticks themselves are the most smooth in business. If you have read my Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller Impression, this is a similar story where sticks feel hyper-tune for accuracy and accountability. Certainly, it will be a boon for the best FPS game where careful shots are everything.
The micro-switch button is becoming increasingly common with contemporary gamepads, even cheap models such as gamer T4 clads offer them. They are also present on the revolution X unlimited, and they are touching satisfactorily.
It is another element that replaces unlimited as a competitive-focused controller. Don’t think me wrong, it’s amazing for any kind of game, and I tested an explosion with it The Elder Scroll 4: Oblivian Remastard With Xbox Series X A hat in time And Last Fantasy 14 online On PC. But it is really alive with multiplayer-oriented games Techcan 8 And Fortnite, Thanks to those butter smooth thumbstick and rapid button activation.
Battery life is a minor lethargy because you are receiving only about 10 hours on a full charge. It charges quite quickly in about two and a half hours with the involved charging dock, but if you like the wireless play then you expect to top the controller regularly.

How I tested Nacon Revolution X Unlimited Controller

I tested the revolution X unlimited controller over a week, playing both single and multiplay games in Xbox and PC. On my Xbox series x digital version, I took controller for a spin The Elder Scroll 4: Oblivian Remastard And Accepted, I went more multiplayer-centric on PC, with the title Tekken 8, Last Fantasy 14 Online, And Street Fighter 6 Filling many of my play time with the controller.
