Price and availability
Wiz HDMI Sink box with TV backlight does not have many options for you to choose. There are no color options, no additional accessories that you can buy, or anything like that. Sink boxes and cords are always black. The only different option to choose for you is the length of the light bandage so that it can fit different size TVs. Nevertheless, you have only two options: 55 “-65” and 75 “-85” TV screens.
You can buy products from many places including official WIZ website, Amazon and eBay. Buying directly from WIZ will cost you $ 90 and 75 for the 55 “-65” option for $ 110 for the option. You can certainly find this product cheaper on third-party retailer sites, although it is never guaranteed that they will be new.

An intuitive design that is quick and easy
There are tones of ambient lighting options on the market, and installing them can be a problem. Thankfully, this fragmented light strip from the visit was incredibly easy, even though the instructions were more like a picture book than a manual.
There are only a few components: sink box, a power cord, an HDMI cord, and light strips themselves, as well as some plastic sticky cap, you can use those lights behind your TV,
Setting the whole thing was as simple as slapping the lights on the left, right and top edges behind the TV, plugging them into the sink box, and then plugging the sink box into a power source. After that, it is a matter of using two HDMI cords to connect a device (such as game console, streaming sticks, and so on) directly on sink box, and sink box for TV. The whole thing took only 10 minutes, and I did not even need to use plastic cap to secure the lights.
To really manipulate the light, you will need to download Wiz v2 appConnecting the lights to the app for the first time can be a little fine. First of all, you have to connect your smartphone to the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection. Almost every Wi-Fi router provides this, but you can’t see until you visible to the devices you find it. You can technically connect with lights without a 2.4GHz connection, but if you do, they will not work properly, often disconnects, fail to react to the app, and more.
You have to turn on Bluetooth for your smartphone. After the device is connected to the Wiz V2 app, you can close Bluetooth and return to your normal Wi-Fi network. You do not need those people to manipulate the light with the app after this point. In all, until you have some problems with connecting to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, the entire process of setting backlight and sink box should take only 20 minutes.
Great synchronized lighting for HDMI input
When I first tested this product, I tried to use my father on my TV in my bedroom, only after installing it to realize a big mistake: he watches TV via smart apps and internet, not through any kind of HDMI-output device. This meant that the TV could not synchronize with backlight audio or visual input, as there was no input in it. He can still use the backlight as an ambient static lighting, but it was that.
So, be aware that, if you want Lights what is on TV, it can only be done when the material is being played through HDMI input device. It includes game console, streaming sticks, some disc players and so on. The good news is that the sticky support of the lights was quite good to pull out of my father’s TV and went into a separate, where it could be used for its full potential, although I cannot say how many times you can do so that just before sticking doesn’t catch anymore.
These wiz backlights gave a meaningful light show for gaming, my Xbox or my PC. Visual synchronization is quick and comfortable, colors were present to change the colors on the wall which was running in accurate places in my games. In a digital desert with a bright blue sky over me, these lights accurately provided the color of the sand on the half of it and that sky on the top.
There is also an audio synchronization mode, where the light will change according to the sound effects and music coming from the TV. Fair Warning, however, this is actually the sink box to listen to the sounds and change the lights, meaning that you need to keep it with the speakers, and it can also take audio from sources other than TV, if they are sufficiently sufficient. The box is very small in itself, but there are too many cords, so you may need to organize those cords so that they can be kept out of sight.
With visual synchronization, colors change rapidly and cleanly, even adding a sudden glow of different color changes on TV, adding even more nature to things such as electricity and explosion.
Wiz V2 app is a little clinky
Once you know what you are doing on the Wiz V2 app, it is quite straightforward. There are different different light modes for choosing, and they show you the related colors. But there are some aspects that feel unexpected. For example, I had to hunt for a long time to find an option to remove the device from the app, when I made it pair with the wrong Wi-Fi connection. You cannot do this from the device and you do not do it with settings. Even now I struggle to remember where the option is because it is in such a fruitless place.
He said, the app is very useful, allowing you to change the light, set automatic schedule and lya for light vibrations, and a special tab that can teach you how to do a bunch of nifty things with any Wiz lights. It would have been a little easier to navigate the Kash app, but it would have worked.
Should you buy Wiz HDMI sink box with TV backlight?
This light is a style choice, and in that regard, they serve very well. Backlight synchronization adds a lot of life to video games and colorful movies, and even create a very calm rave product if you were throwing a party with music that is quite loud. Also, this Wiz HDMI sink box with TV backlighting Some of its competition from companies like Govi or Philips Hue is much cheaper than it, so if you really want this type of product, it is a very good deal.
Nevertheless, if you are on a budget, you are not missing anything from life-changing. But if you love environment light with lots of adaptation options, I can safely say that this product can provide it for you.
