Meta recently released a new video editing app for creators named Edits. The new app is designed for a popular short-form video-editing app used by many creators, biodenses.
Meta first shared that it was working back on editing back in January, when the bidens-owned Capkat was removed from the US app store, when the ticket was banned as well as the ticket ban. Although the app has since returned online and is available to download, the future of Tiktok in America remains uncertain, so Meta is ready to capitalize on the possible absence of the capcat in the future with its new editing app.

How to start with app
Editing is available to download both IOS And AndroidOnce you download the app and open it, you will be asked to log in with your Instagram account.
From there you will see five main tabs: ideas, inspiration, projects, records and insights. How does editing vary from Capcut?
While both editing and Capcut short-form are great options for editing videos, there are some differences between the two services.
Capcut offers more strong editing options including AI features compared to editing. Of course, this can be expected because editing is much new than Capcut. Meta will probably continue to build editing over the next months and years, so we can expect to see more advanced functionality in the future. It is also worth noting that Capcut has a more comprehensive music library than editing.
Another difference is that currently editing does not offer membership (for now), but capcut. While Capcut offers a free version, some of its advanced equipment are closed behind a payment membership.
